Modes
of
transportation为主题,通过描述和比较不同的交通方式,学会和运用形容词和副词的最高级。让学生学会“用语言做事情”,增强综合语用能力。
本次教学设计内容是第四模块Unit1和Unit2。
Unit
1
通过Betty和妈妈的对话,讨论并对比了Betty、Tony、Lingling和
Daming
去上学的交通方式,以培养学生的听说能力为主。Unit2以What
is
the
best
way
to
travel
from
London
to
Amsterdam 这一问题引入主题,对比了四种旅行方式,以培养学生的读写能力为主。

八年级上学期的学生经过一年多的学习,有了一定的英语

2和Module3的学习,学生知道了什么是形容词和副词,掌握了形容词和副词的比较级,这为Module

教学目标
知识目标:掌握与交通有关的词汇;学会形容词、副词最高级的变化规则及用法;
能力目标:能听懂并理解与交通方式有关的对话;
运用所学词汇和形容词副词最高级来讨论对比不同的交通方式;
通过阅读短文,比较各种交通方式的优缺点,找出有用的信息,以提高阅读能力;
情感与态度价值观:
通过比较各种交通方式各有哪些优缺点,选择合适的出行方式,
增强学生的环保意识。
四.
教学重难点
形容词和副词最高级的运用、增强学生的环保意识是本模块的重点,此外形容词和副词最高级的运用又是教学难点。
五.教学方法
以学生为中心,采用头脑风暴法,任务型教学法;学生通过自学、合作学习,角色表演,语言交际法等,由易到难,逐步引导学生掌握所学知识并加以运用。
六.教具准备:多媒体及教学相关的音频素材,录音机,磁带
七.教学评价
评价内容:
1.对表示活动的短语的掌握程度。
2.
对形容词副词最高级的熟练运用。
评价方法:
观察学生在课堂上发言情况。

【设计意图】降低难度,逐步引导学生自己完成对话任务,提高学生综合语言运用能力,感受成功,建立自信;最后将对话落实到笔头上,让其他学生做改错练习。因为一些错误是普遍存在的,让学生给别人改错的同时意识到自己存在的问题。
