学情分析
初二的学生经过一年多的学习，有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力，正逐渐向读、写过渡。经过一年的新课程理念的熏陶及实践，有了初步的自主、合作、探究、实验的能力。本单元采用了阅读文章从而获得写作信息来进一步练习学生们的阅读能力和收集写作信息的能力，为接下来的写作作铺垫。课前已安排学生了课前准备中已安排学生根据音标朗读单词并了解单词的意思并搜集美国天气有关信息。
