本册教材中的Module 2,Module 3和Module 4三个模块都是学习现在完成时这一新的语法项目。因此本模块在语法学习上起着承上启下的作用,要求学生能根据不同情况在现在完成时中正确使用already, just, yet。本模块的话题为太空旅行,第一单元以人类探索火星的行为为背景引入现在完成时的用法,第二单元通过描述人类对宇宙太空所做的探索历程强化现在完成时的表意功能,开展听说读写教学活动。第三单元通过language practice对所学知识进行系统化和巩固强化。
学情分析
通过Module 2 Experiences的学习,学生已经初步掌握了现在完成时的构成和基本用法,为本模块继续学习yet, already, just在现在完成时中的用法以及have been to与 have gone to之间的区别做了很好的铺垫。
对于太空旅行和宇宙探索这样的话题,学生充满了好奇心和探索欲,有利于话题的展开和讨论。但是由于学生知识面较窄,缺乏足够的背景知识和相关英语词汇匮乏都会使得在探讨这一话题时会有一定的难度。
因此教师首先需要为学生提供必要的相关词汇和足够的背景知识,使学生对宇宙和宇宙探索有一定的了解;在具体安排教学内容时,应根据自己学生的实际情况,设计难度适当的教学活动。

教材分析
本单元为听说课,围绕Daming和Tony之间关于制作飞船模型的对话展开,涉及登月、火星探索等信息,使学生理解already, just, yet 在现在完成时中的使用。由于涉及到的新词汇较多和学生知识面较窄,教师需要事先布置预习任务,让学生利用身边的资源了解太空知识以及太空探索,课堂上教师还需进行必要的背景知识介绍,为新课的学习做好铺垫。
