Step 1: Lead-in
T shows the pictures about E.T. and spaceships.
Ss should answer questions about them. And talk about something about Shenzhou-9 to know about the achievements that we have made. They can work in group to talk about them.
通过观看外星人和宇宙飞船相应的图片,引起学生学习本课内容的兴趣,讨论外星人的长相、来到地球的方式以及外星人是否真的存在等问题,活跃课堂气氛。了解我们中国在太空探索方面所取得的成就,增强学生的民族意识和民族自豪感。
Step 2: Reading
Before reading
T show a few pictures about planets,stars,solar system,galaxies and universe, and talk about the relationship among them in group.

Read every paragraph carefully in silence and answer the questions for each paragraph.
