本单元学习的主题是农场。而本节课主要学习四种动物名称horse cow hen sheep及其复数形式。同时让学生学会在一定的情境中正确地使用Are these…? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t. These are…. They’re so big/cute….来讨论或描述动物。在上完这节课后,我针对本节课进行了反思:21教育网
1、本节课本着遵循“以学生为主体,教师为主导”的教学思想,课前对学生活动中将会使用的语言做出准确预测,然后归纳整理相关知识,为学生提供了一个框架,也提供了一个示范,形成知识储备库,为学生提供必要的语言支持。学生在教师的指导下,在自主学习完成任务的过程中可随时从知识储备库中提取所需知识,从而达到知识滚动发展的良性循环。
2、在 “学中用,用中学”教学思想的支配下,设计贴近学生生活的教学情景和活动,以“动”促说,以“动”促用,把英语从学生嘴里“逼”出来,让学生在活动中学会英语,实现用英语进行交际的目的,使学习和活动实现完美有机的结合。21cnjy.com
3、本课在“Farm open day”这一活动主线引导下,把学生带进现实生活中,使学生以轻松、愉悦的心态对“farm”话题进行听说读写的综合练习。让学生通过观察、分析,找出可数名词复数的变化规律及复数形式的读音规律。又通过做练习、反思,老师答疑,点拨学习方法,梳理知识,使知识系统化、条理化,培养了学生的应变能力和自学能力,为学生进一步学习打好知识基础和能力基础,为培养学生能力做好了物质上的准备。21世纪教育网版权所有
4、本节课从歌曲导入开始,我通过运用图片、声音、动画、游戏等形式给学生设计了多种学习活动,让学生在多样的活动中用语言进行交际,营造了和谐的学习气氛,同学们积极踊跃。但由于最后的小组活动中,给学生设计本组农场的时间偏长,导致展示介绍环节有点仓促,有一部分同学没有动起来。21·cn·jy·com
我想在今后的教学中,我一定要备好学生,做好教学前的准备,并根据课堂的实际来调控好时间。

二、学情分析
学生在学习过A部分的内容后,对重点句型和单词的复数形式已经有了一定的理解。本节课将通过学习动物单词,进一步巩固重点句型,并让学生练习在恰当的语境中进行语言交际活动。
三、教学目标
知识目标:
能正确听说认读单词:horse cow hen sheep及其复数形式。
能力目标:

Step 1:Warming up and revision
1.Before the class: Free talk and then enjoy a song with the students Old Macdonald had a farm. Give them a question: What does Macdonald have on his farm?
2.T: I have a farm,too. Do you want to visit my farm ? Show the picture of my farm and ask questions: What are these ? Get the Ss to answer like this: They’re …. They’re so big/long….21cnjy.com
Step 2 :Presentation
1.T: And on my farm I have some animals ,too. Listen carefully ,they’re coming.
2.Play the sound of a pig,ask:What’s this ?Get the Ss to answer :It’s a pig. Show another picture of pigs and say:These are pigs. They’re so fat. Teach the new words”hens,cows,horses and sheep”in the same way. While teaching the new words,practice the sentences”These are….They’re so big/cute/….”But when teach the word”sheep”,tell the Ss to pay attention to its plural form. It’s the same as the singular form. When teach these words,I’ll ask some students to practice like this: Hens, hens, these are hens.21·cn·jy·com
3.Then play the video about Let’s learn. Ss look, listen and repeat.
Step 3:Practice
1.Do and guess: Ask two groups to come to the front. They can do actions or imitate the sound of the animals, the other students guess. Ask : Are these…? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t. They’re….If the group guess correctly, they can get one point.
2.Group PK:Who is the quickest ? Each group choose one student come to the front then I’ll show the pictures of the animals quickly. They should say the words as quickly as they can.The quicker student can get one point.2·1·c·n·j·y
2.Play a guessing game: pair work
