【设计理念】
本节课为高一学生入校以来第一节听力课,鉴于听力一直是大多数学生感到关痛和恐惧的课型,如何在高一第一堂听力训练课既能完成听力任务达到课标所要求的技能目标,又能通过教师的组织指导作用适当合理地简化听力训练,培养和增强学生对听力练习的信心的目的,是这节课在设计时教师必须要注意的。这也正体现了英语课程标准基本理念中的优化学习方式,提高自主学习能力的课程理念。
【教材分析】
按照基础教育阶段英语课程分级总体目标的要求,高中课程标准对语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等五个方面分别提出了相应内容和标准而本节课所进行的听、说技能是为通过专项和综合性语言实践活动,培养学生用英语获取和处理信息的能力。本节听力活动所选取的材料相对简单,主要是学生在新学期开始谈论自己所上的语言课的情况,通过本节听力训练能让学生发表自己对所学课程的看法从而展开一段对话,在教学过程中教师应明确三个问题:本节课的目的、难点及如何使听力练习愉悦起来。
【学情分析】
高一新生是在义务教育五级的目标基础上进行六级目标训练的。学生在义务教育阶段英语课上所学的一般疑问句式在本节课将重点体现。
原有认知发展分析
学生在义务教育阶段,对听力训练已有一定了解。但相比而言,初中的听力材料相对简单,高中阶段听力材料会逐渐变难。然而,在初中听力材料简单的基础上,听力训练仍是让部分学生望而却步的话题。
Ⅱ 原有知识结构分析
学生在初中阶段的听力训练中,题型多以选择题为主,话题选择较容易理解且问题比较简短,但在高中阶段,听力训练中出现了许多的问答题,这就增加了学生给出正确答案的难度。
Ⅲ 非认知因素分析
听力训练所要求学生掌握的语言技能相对较高,而且由于存在美式英语与英式英语发音的区别及语调、语速的影响,对大部分学生而言,听力都是比较难以掌握的练习。如何在高一第一节听力课上适当简化训练形式,克服学生的紧张心理,帮助他们树立信心就尤为重要。
【教学目标】
本节课旨在通过词汇与听力的训练帮助学生了解单词的词性变化,在日常人际交往中有效地使用得体的语言进行表达并发表意见表明自己的态度
Ⅰ 知识与技能
听懂有关学校介绍的内容并获取信息,识别所学生词、词语和含有-ing,-ed的派生词,听懂它们所在句子和段落的意义并获取信息。
Ⅱ 过程与方法
第一步通过个别活动和集体活动,运用初中所学构词法学习生词为听力活动打下基础;第二步,通过听力活动巩固所学词汇,教师与学生一同复习初中所学一般现在时的疑问句式并在听力练习中抓取有效信息;第三步,运用合作探究法引导学生小组活动评论任何一节课。
Ⅲ 情感、态度和价值观
利用派生规则的以形释义和按义释形的认知策略,复习一般现在时的用法;引导学生热爱新学校,新班级和新同学,参与各种英语活动,在新环境中进一步树立准确的语言学习观,并通过小组活动引导学生在学习中注重合作探究。

【教学思路】
先通过个别和集体练习进行词汇部分的训练以帮助学生学习掌握本节课所要求掌握的单词,然后组织学生进行听力活动,通过让学生朗读对话,注意使对话继续进行的表达方式并发表自己对开学以来任何一堂课的看法。
【教学过程】
Step Ⅰ:Vocabulary
(Ⅰ)Complete the chart with the words in the box.
2 minutes for the students to fill in the chart by themselves.
One by one to report their words
Lead the whole class to check and correct.
(Ⅱ)Complete these sentences. Use a suitable form of each word in the box.
Lead the students to get familiar with the sentences.
Analyze the acquired information of each sentence to help the students find the suitable word.
3 minutes for the students to fill in the blank.
(The teacher is to walk in the classroom and give help to those who have difficulties in finding the suitable word)
Check the answers with the whole class.
(Ⅲ)Read the sentences in activity 2 again. Answer these questions.
Read the two sentences and the three choices with the whole class.
(In order to help students feel more enjoyable and relaxed, the teacher lead them to do this exercise together)
2 minutes for the students to read the sentences in activity 2 again, then give their choices.
Call back their answers.
The teacher plays the tape once for the students to listen to the conversation and check their answers.
设计意图:通过个别、集体活动运用构词法,掌握单词词形变化及用法,由于题型设立的简单,比较易于帮助学生克服紧张心理,建立信心。
Step Ⅱ Listening
(Ⅰ) 2 minutes for the students to read the questions by themselves.
(Ⅱ) Analyze the sentence patterns with the whole class.
(Ⅲ) Look at the example and remind the students that they should add information while answering.
(Ⅳ) play the tape twice for the students to get the answers.
(Ⅴ) They may have a discussion if necessary.
(Ⅵ) After discussion, the teacher plays the tape again for the students to check their answers.
(During this period, the teacher is trying to simplify the listening activities to help the students build their confidence).
设计意图:通过分析句型特点及讨论所给例句,达到适当简化听力练习的目的,更有利于学生在听磁带的过程中抓取有效信息。
Step Ⅲ:Everyday English and Function (Making conversation)
(Ⅰ) Read this part of the conversation between Bob and Diane. Look for the expressions they use to keep the conversation going and underline them.
ⅰ 2 minutes for the students to practice the conversation with their partners in order to help them get familiar with it.
ⅱ Discuss the expressions that Rob and Diane use to keep the conversation going.
设计意图:通过同桌之间练习及讨论增进同桌间的友谊,培养学生合作探究意识。
(Ⅱ) Work in pairs. Have a conversation about one of your classes. Use the expressions in activity 1 to help you.
ⅰ 3 minutes for the students to discuss in groups of four.
ⅱ Invite some pairs to perform.
设计意图:四人小组活动便于群策群力,邀请部分小组成员表演利于锻炼学生的勇气,增进学生之间的认识。
