【设计理念】
依据《英语课程标准》教师要充分利用现代教育技术,开发英语教学资源,拓宽学生学习渠道,改进学生的学习方式,提高学生的学习效率。在条件许可的情况下,教师应充分利用各种听觉和视觉手段,丰富教学内容和形式,促进学生课堂学习。教师应根据课程的要求,对教材进行分析,对学生的需求和水平进行深入了解,并根据自己的教学条件和教学环境,补充和调整教材的内容,创造性地完成教学目标与任务。
【教材分析】
Ⅰ 知识结构分析
speaking部分通过回答模块提出的问题,对中美中学生活进行简单的口头描述。Writing 部分通过阅读一名美国中学生写的电子邮件,通过回答问题的方式,写一封回信。Task部分要求学生分组调查讨论后准备一个描述校园的小册子。
Ⅱ 知识发生发展过程分析
给学生提供耳熟能详的听觉和视觉的教学资源,对学生提出严格、符合实际具有操作性的要求,培养学生良好的学习策略。
Ⅲ 知识学习意义分析
在初中的语言知识和技能的基础上结合本单元前五节课的语言输入,组织学生表达自己的思想观念,从一开始学习高中英语就让其产生不同程度的成就感。
Ⅳ 教学建议与学法指导说明
结合高中实际生活,尽量联系高中新学校的实际情况,组织学生用所学知识和技能表述校园生活。
【学情分析】
Ⅰ 原有认识发展分析
高一学生的年龄大多是在16-17岁之间,通过三年的初中英语学习已具有一定的听说读写能力,自主学习能力和分析理解能力,可是不良的学习习惯、较差的说写能力和知识面窄的问题普遍存在。
Ⅱ 原有知识结构分析
我校学生大部分来自周边乡镇和外县乡镇,英语水平参差不齐,口语和写作水平高的学生比例不大,学生在课堂内跟上老师思路大胆开口说英语的能力也不强。
Ⅲ 非认知因素分析
通过前五节课语言输入的强化随着对新教师,新环境的适应,学生们在说写的素材方面有了知识的积累,有参与到课堂活动中进行语言输出的表现愿望和寻求知识学习成就感的愿望而且学生对校园生活的话题还是很熟悉和感兴趣的,师生互动效果是较为不错的。
【教学目标】
知识与技能:
(I)语言知识目标
以图文并茂的形式让学生掌握本课的重点词汇和表达方式,如:amazing, description, amazed, impress, impressive , impression, school system, teenager,school life,after-school activities等,并使学生通过学习能够正确地使用-ed, -ing的准确使用,并能熟练的使用一般现在时态的表达。
(II)语言技能目标
能够使学生仿照已学课文中和本节课所输入的句型,词组及短语来进行对比分析,然后讲述中美学校之间的不同点和相似之处,掌握一些基本的表达方式为写作打好基础。
过程与方法
以本单元前五课时的听说读写的知识输入为基础,课前以图文并茂的形式对已输入的知识点进行复习巩固,使学生能运用所学的知识分组进行语言输出练习,为写作做好准备。写作重在引导学生利用已输入的知识进行加工创造。
Ⅲ .情感、态度与价值观
通过speaking部分对中美校园文化异同的分组谈讨拓展了世界观从思想和语言两方面使两种文化进行交流。通过小组之间的探讨,增进了解和友谊,激发学习兴趣。创造性的写作训练增强了学生对母校的印象和热爱之情。
【重点难点】
教学的重点
熟练地和学生讨论本模块布置的话题;熟练地介绍学校情况;流利地说出含有本模块生词,短语和含有-ing,-ed的句子及段落。熟练写出含有一般现在时的句子和段落;熟练完成模块所要求的写作任务,比较自如地写出介绍学校情况的文章;
II. 教学难点
-ing,-ed分词作表语、定语的使用。
【教学环境】
◆学生可能获得的学习环境为多媒体教室
◆通过上传制作的或网上下载或网络联接所取得的文体,图片或音视频资料
【教学方法】
为了完成上述教学目标,我利用多媒体辅助教学呈现给学生一些校园的图片,激发他们的学习兴趣。我还采用了启发、诱导、提问、分组讨论和任务型教学法让学生在完成任务的过程中感受到学习的快乐和成功。
【教学思路】
通过speaking+writing+task部分的学习使学生们对美国校园文化有更深层次的了解,加深对母校的印象,培养学生对母校的热爱。以speaking部分给的教学任务为载体复习巩固前五课时的语言输入并为写作做好铺垫。写作重在指导过程,启发指导学生利用已有资源进行加工创造性写作。Task部分作为课后作业让学生分组去调查所在的新学校的校园环境,加深对新校园的印象和了解,使学生很快熟悉新的校园环境。
【教学过程】
Step I. speaking
Use power point to show the students some pictures about Chinese school life and discuss the pictures with the whole class .
Use power point to show the students some pictures about American school life and discuss the pictures with the whole class .
According to what the students have learned in the last five periods , show the students a table which reflects the differences and similarities between American and Chinese school system . Fill in the blanks in the table with the whole class .

设计意图:以校园图片为载体通过提问启发学生了解不同文化的校园生活,并且向学生输入基本的语言知识为进一步的语言输出作好准备。
Step Ⅱ Speaking (Page7)
Divide the students into groups and ask them to choose one favorite topic on Speaking page 7 to discuss .
(II)Ask several students to report their discussion .
设计意图:通过分组选题使不同能力的学生找到自己感兴趣的话题进行讨论,组员之间的交流可增进学生们的友谊。小组的汇报及评价使其获得不同程度的成就感激发其兴趣。
Step Ⅲ writing (Page8)
Use power point to show some questions about the email and ask the students to discuss the questions in their group .
Ask several students in different groups to report their discussion .
Use power point to show the students the four questions in the email and ask them to read the email in 3-5 minutes . While reading , they should find the answers to the questions .
Ask individual student to answer the questions then discuss the four questions with the whole class .
Ask the students to write down their own memory of their first school , first teacher , first best friend and first favorite activity in 5 minutes. Choose several students to read their writings individually .
设计意图:先让学生对文中的四个问题进行讨论,发散学生们的思维。这样不会被文中问题的答案所禁锢,通过讨论汇报及评价让学生们感受到成就感激发兴趣并为进一步的写作做好铺垫。让学生们带着问题去阅读email内容,可对自己在分组讨论中语言表达的不足进行补充完善为写作做好准备通过课堂的限时写作完成学生们语言输出的训练巩固所学知识通过汇报点评激发兴趣帮学生寻找成就感。
Step Ⅳ Task Page10
Ask the students to do a survey about their favorite classroom and after-school activities in the new school or choose special features of the new school . They should prepare a brochure about their survey and write a paragraph as homework . Next class , they will be asked to show their brochure to other students .
设计意图:让学生课后调查自己的新校园,可增进其对新校园的了解熟悉加强对其热爱之情。
