《Thanksgiving is my favourite festival.》是新标准英语三年级起点第七册Module 4 Unit1的一节新授课。课文中Simon 向Daming介绍美国的两个节日 Flag Day 和 Thanksgiving Day,描述了人们在这两个节日中做什么、吃什么,如何庆祝节日等。在帮助学生了解以上两个西方节日的同时,渗透西方文化,使学生了解中西文化的差异、培养学生的跨国文化意识。重点向学生描述人们在感恩节中感恩的习俗唤起学生的感恩之心,陶冶学生的情怀。

本节课是新标准英语三年级起点第七册第四模块第一单元第一课时的内容。本节课以向学生介绍两个美国节日——感恩节和国旗日为重点使学生了解中西方文化差异,内容比较切近生活实际,学生学起来很容易、很乐学。在设计本堂课时,我大体分为以下几个步骤 Warming up—Presentation—Text learning—Practice—Consolidation— Summary—Homework. 在warming up 环节,引导学生齐唱 《We wish you a merry Christmas》并做动作,引出本节课题,课堂气氛比较活跃。Presentation环节呈现单词和句型。讲解单词时,利用简笔画、单词卡片等形式;自然拼读法、关联法、分音节法讲解单词发音;但未使学生在语境中使用这些新单词,是本节课的漏洞之一。创设情境使学生对本节课重点句型加以感受和运用。Text learning环节,采用听前预测、一听回答简单问题、二听回答细节问题、三听跟读模仿的套路;每个环节,都给予窍门提示。在跟读模仿环节,规定学生默读,效果不是很好。Practice环节,设置填空题引导学生复述课文。Consolidation 环节, 使学生在掌握本课语法——人称代词格的变化并设置题目加以运用;通过提问What can you learn from“We say thank you for our food, family and friends”?对学生进行情感培养。在本环节,引起学生的情感共鸣,效果较好。Summary 环节,引导学生利用板书内容进行总结,特别注意对情感态度方面进行总结。21教育网
