Learners read a story about a cat and a mouse.
Learners write the dialogues between the cat and the mouse.
Language focus:
1. Using the present continuous tense to describe an action taking place at the time of speaking.
e.g. It is sleeping.
2. Using predicative adjectives to describe feelings.
e.g. The cat is angry and tired.
3. Using prepositions to indicate positions.
e.g. The mouse is under the chair.
Teaching Type: New
Materials:
Cassette, cassette player, word and picture cards.
Procedure:
Ⅰ. Warming up
1. Recite the new words and translate the expressions.

Read a story.
