【教学过程】
一、以情激趣,复习旧知。
1、师生问候:
T:Good morning, my boys and girls.

T: How are you today?
S: I’m fine, thanks. And you?

2、欣赏歌曲 “He’s wearing _____ on _____. ”
(设计意图:师生共同欣赏,并随之歌唱,既亲切活泼,又激发了学生的学习兴趣, 吸引了学生的注意力,让学生在轻松的气氛中进入学习英语的意境。)

二、整体输入,感受新知。
1、用新旧不同的物品(如衣服、文具等)相对比引出新词new, old.
T: This is a new skirt,that is an old skirt.
This is a new pencil, that is an old pencil.
引导学生猜出new, old的意思,板书 new , old . 领读几遍。
⑴利用课件图片出示新旧物品对比照片,让学生试着描述。(过程中用Is it new /old? Are they new/old? 帮助学生准确描述。)【来源:21·世纪·教育·网】
⑵游戏。教师利用卡片让学生猜词组。找一名同学面对大家,让下面的同学说new 或者old,让前面的同学猜。 21·世纪*教育网
2、Listen and answer:
1. Is Jenny’s skirt new?

2. What’s Kim’s favourite clothes?
Kim’s favourite clothes are her trousers.
3、教师走到学生中间,指着一名学生的裤子:I like your pants. Are they new?
(分别问穿新旧不同衣服的学生若干。)引导学生用Thanks来回答。板书并领读。
三、设置情境、活用交际。
1、让学生看教室带到教室里来的衣服,并同时说出该衣服的单词,既复习了单词,又引出了情境。让学生利用这些衣服或其他物品,任意创设情境编对话。

2、展示成果。
