一、if引导的条件句
我们在七年级时已经学过结构为
“主句用一般将来时,
if引导的从句用一般现在时”
的条件句来谈论可能发生的事件。if从句的一般现在时用于表述可能发生的动作或情况,
主句用一般将来时表述条件成立时可能产生的结果。例如:

at

if条件句的主句和从句都用一般现在时。

【语法笔记】
1.
if从句可以放在句首,
也可以放在句末。
如果把if从句放在句首,
常用逗号将其与主句分开。例如:

is

zero.
如果温度低于零摄氏度,
水就会变成冰。
2.
if引导的条件状语从句中通常不用一般将来时。在需要表达将来含义时,
一般用现在时表示。
二、if
…not和unless
1.
if…not和unless都可以用来引导条件状语从句,
if…not表示
“如果……不……”,
而unless表示
“除非”。当它们引导条件状语从句时,
可以互相转换。例如:

2.
if…not和unless引导的从句和主句的位置可以互换。但是当从句在前,
主句在后时,
一般用逗号隔开,
反之,
则不用逗号。

在unless引导的从句里,
通常用现在时表示将来。例如:
