学生分析
1.七年级的学生对学习英语有较浓厚的兴趣和热情。他们活泼、好动、好奇心强,表现欲和自尊心强,希望得到老师和同学们的认可和赞扬。2.学生在学习本课之前在小学已经掌握了不少动物名称的单词,所以对该单元的中心话题“Does
it
eat
meat ”比较熟悉,能通过对话表达自己的想法。3.在学习本课前学生已经能够娴熟地使用两人合作小组,四人合作小组的方法进行语言的表达和交流;基本能用英语相结合,用英语开展思维,发表个人意见。
教材分析
本课处于英语《新标准》七年级上册模块6第一单元的第一课时。本模块以“动物”为话题,本单元通过孩子们和导游之间的问答为学生介绍了几种动物的习性,话题贴近学生生活;学生也比较感兴趣,便于开展活动。本课时不仅要求学生能通过大量的听说练习,掌握一定量的单词、短语和语法知识,并能够运用这些词汇正确、流利、简单地描述自己喜爱的动物。为下节课的读写教学和今后的英语学习打下良好的础。
