教案
设计思路
本节课是一堂与历史上著名人物有关的英语阅读课以往的阅读课都以学生的“阅”和老师的“讲”为主。学生对阅读总有些“恐惧感”和“距离感”。基于学生对文本的理解不存在太大的问题本节课尝试在阅读本文的基础上通过听说等环节来体现“Out
Put”适当放慢环节的进度和任务的难度,让学树立信心,不再惧怕阅读。
二、教材分析

本节课是上教版八年级英语上册Unit
1
Encyclopaedias三个独立成篇的小故事的其中一篇。通过学习课文,了解哲学家Diogenes生平故事,感知快乐的方式和意义,正确、流畅地朗读课文,语音语调正确就“The
way
to
be
happy
is
to
”表达自己对快乐的看法,根据给出的关键词复述课文,课后利百科全书搜集有关名人的故事
,以此来增加课外阅读量,
拓展课外知识。
2.
本节课为今后学习有关于人物事实的文章打下基础。
三、学情分析
本课中呈现的as
as
possible相对较难掌握。Diogenes对于快乐的定义在文
字上不难理解,可其中正真的含义需要学生在生活中去感悟和体会。基于以上的分析,本节课以学生为中心,采用任务型的教学策略,在阅读文本的同时加强听说能力的培养。

六、教学策略与手段
以学生为主体以任务为基础,渗透建构主义的学习理论。通过两人合作,小组讨论活动等教学方法,并加以多媒体辅助教学。通过创设情景、激发学生的
学习兴趣、调动学生学习的积极性,使学生掌握语言知识的同时,在应用能力上也能得到提高。课件中包含了许多关于课文的图片,生动形象,不仅能给学生以
深刻的感官印象,诱发他们的兴趣,同时还能使他们对事物很快地形成正确的概
念,以便牢固记忆。
