1教材分析
本课是第三单元的阅读篇章，做出了对玩电脑游戏的不良后果的探讨。
2学情分析
学生对本单元的主题Science
and
technology比较感兴趣，对于过度玩电脑游戏会带了很多的恶果也持肯定态度。此文章容易引起学生的讨论，反思和共鸣。
3教学目标
通过学完这些内容之后，让学生达到以下三个目标：
1).
知识目标
掌握单词:
head
teacher,
effect,
expert,
speech,
performance…等词②学生能掌握表达建议的基本句型，stop
的用法，without
doing的用法等。
2).
能力目标
①通过阅读文章，能够掌握其基本大意，并且能够大致翻译文章中的重点句型。
②掌握演讲的基本步骤，会写演讲类的篇章。
3).
情感、文化目标
①了解电脑的相关知识，增强对新鲜事物的求知欲，同时不过度玩电脑游戏，有节制。
②通过Peter’s
Mother的信了解到父母对自己的关爱，理解他们的良苦用心，缓和和父母以及家人之间的关系。

根据本课所学，能够复述文章中的重点句型，掌握演讲的步骤，会改写文章，并且敢于演讲。
