一、教学内容分析
教材分析:本单元以Inventions为话题,共设计了三个部分的内容:Section
A,B
,Self
check。语言功能、教学目标、教学难点及重点都是围绕“Inventions”这一中心而设计的。并且为学生设置了充分的“听、说、读、写”的情境。

三、学习者特征分析
在这一节的基础上,学生对一般将来时已经有了解,在本课时应该注重此时态的正确运用,学生有一定的英语学习能力。学生们都有较强的求知欲,一部分学生学习过程的参与度高,能积极发言。
四、教学策略选择与设计
充分利用多媒体等教学设备,设计与本课话题相关的情景,如不同种类的发明,人物,实物等等。围绕着本单元的教学目标,设计一些贴近学生实际的教学任务,让学生谈论身边的发明如电话、电脑、汽车、茶叶、篮球以及一些当代发明的看法;让学生根据所学知识,自己进行创新设计等等。

通过口语练习,激发学生学习积极性,让学生在轻松好奇的氛围中复习上节课的目标语言,又引出新课。以旧知识新引入新单词。培养学生自主学习的能力。2.
通过问题让学生对对话有整体了解,为听力练习做好准备;又培养学生的注意力,想象力,观察力。3.
培养听力能力,熟悉语言目标。4.
通过听力练习和阅读练习让学生明白这些发明对生活的帮助和对生活质量的提高与认识。
本堂课通过图片和句型,激发学生练习口语的积极性,让学生在轻松好奇的氛围中认识人类的科技进步。 运用所学目标语言为学生提供写作练习的机会,提高学生运用语言的能力。培养学生的合作交流意识以及创新能力,提高运用目标语言的能力。进一步了解被动语态的用法;提高学生的口头表达能力。培养学生综合运用语言的能力。通过综合性的活动,培养学生的创新能力来达到情感,态度,价值观的课堂体现。激发学生的兴趣,培养学生的语言表达能力,同时为阅读的部分的教学做铺垫。但还需多做笔头上的写作练习。
