Lesson 2
一、教学目标
①知识目标：复习一般过去时态动词，过去式构成。
②能力目标：正确使用过去进行时态与一般过去时态
③情感目标：能用一般过去时态表达情感.
二、教学重难点:
过去进行时态与一般过去时态的区别与联系。
三、教学过程：
Step 1. Greetings
Step 2. listen and say.
1. Have Ss look at the picture on the page.
2. Ask individual Ss to read out the sentences.
3. It is and option to teach additional expressions, such as.That’s too bad. I’m sorry to hear that. ect.
4. Play the tape a few times and have Ss practice along with the tape.
5. Put Ss in pairs and have them practice the dialog.
Step 3. Practice
Practice 1
1. T: Let’s listen to the tape.
2. Play the tape for a.
3. T: Which picture is correct, (s1’s name ) Picture 1.
4. T: I want someone to write the answer on the board.Ill play the tape again ,so listen carefully.
5. Play the tape again
6. Have a student write the answer for A on the board
7. Do the same with the other questions.
Practice 2.
1. Put Ss in pairs and have them look at the chart
2. T: What happened to these four people Ask and answer questions.
3. Have Ss ask and answer using the model Q&A structure and first, next and then.
4. Walk around the room and help Ss if necessary.
Step 4. Chant activity
1.Ask individual Ss to read the lyrics.
1. )T: Let’s listen to the tape first.
2. )Pla7y the tape and point to each word.
3. )T: Now let’s chant.
4. )Play the tape again and have Ss practice chanting.
2.Put Ss into small groups.
T: Now you can make a new chant. Work in groups.
Have Ss write the new chant on the page. Have each groups practice chanting.Walk around the classroom to see how Ss are doing.Ask some groups to chant for the class.
Step 5. Summary, Homework.
