Unit 5 What are you going to do today
第一课时
教材分析:
教学目标:
1.引导学生初步学会使用句型be going to,并能运用该句型进行对话与交流;
2.在句型操练过程中,能由第二人称you 向第三人称 he / she 过渡,为本单元第二、三课时打下基础;
3.学习新短语take a test,go on vacation,get a haircut,see the doctor,shop for clothes,have a party,write letters,meet some friends, 了解补充词汇tonight,tomorrow,the day after tomorrow。

教学步骤:
一、复习旧知(Revision) 用前面所学句型与学生交谈,进而交流沟通,实现师生互动,创设一种宽松、和谐的氛围,为后面的话题做好铺垫。
1.Greetings.
2.listen to a music
教师用大屏幕播放music 学生边看边唱。
2)学生跟歌词唱。
3.Ask some questions and invite some students to answer. T: What’s your name What do you do What dose your father do What do you usually do on Sunday What does he usually do on Sunday 在学生回答之后,教师及时回应。
二、引入(Lead-in) 由学生过渡到教师自己,用谈话的方式给予一定信息,帮助他们进入学习状态。
T: Today is Monday. I usually read some books on Monday. But today, I am going to write letters. T: So what am I going to do today I am going to write letters . 引导学生提问,由教师回答,交换角色,再次练习。 Ss: What are you going to do today T: I am going to write letters. T: What are you going to do today Ss: I am going to write letters.
三、句型学习(Patterns to learn)
1.在黑板上呈现句型,教师示范,学生跟读,注意语音语调。 What are you going to do today I am going to write letters.
2.学生能独立认读时,用所提供的短语卡片做替换练习,帮助其进一步熟悉新句型。
T: What are you going to do today S1: I am going to take a test. S2: I am going to go on vacation. S3: I am going to get a haircut. ……
四、单词教学(Words to learn)
呈现包含新单词的短语卡片,示范读音。
套用刚才所学习的句型,引导学生用该短语回答问题。
T: What are you going to do today
Ss: I am going to take a test / go on vacation/get a haircut/see the doctor/shop for clothes/have a party/write letters/meet some friends.
五、分组练习句型与单词(Work in groups)
分组操练句型并汇报,鼓励学生充分使用所学短语,体现英语的学以致用。
教师以在黑板上画五星的方式做出相应评价,激发学生的学习热情。
六、加入人称变化
1.师生交谈并引出问题。
T: What are you going to do today S: I am going to … 设问: T: What is he / she going to do
2.视学生的理解程度,引导其回答。 (T: He / She …) Ss: He / She is going to …
3.反复操练,让学生掌握在人称变化时,针对be going to 句型的正确问、答。(出示卡片,复习全部词组)
What is she/he going to do today She/He is going to ____________.
What are they going to do today They are going to_____________.
4.完成 Practice 1
七、巩固与拓展运用(Consolidation)
这里,教师选取了一些学生耳熟能详的中、外公众人物,并借助多媒体呈现出来。这些光鲜的图片立刻吸引了他们的目光,调动起大家的学习兴趣,同时也帮助他们以英语会话的形式了解西方的文化点滴。
1.出示Yao Ming图片,根据提示,解决以下问题: What’s his name What does he do What is he going to do(tomorrow) 在教师的引导下,学生通过小范围讨论后回答。 2.呈现对话,学生进一步掌握对话内容。
3.按照以上方法,谈论George Bush,认读并理解补充词汇tonight,tomorrow,the day after tomorrow等。
分组自由选取屏幕上的谈话对象,并汇报。
八、小结并布置作业,结束本课(Summary and set homework)。
1.完成表格。出示课本Practice 2的表格,让学生课后问同学What are you going to do tonight/tomorrow/the day after tomorrow ,并把答案写下来。
2.Copy Vocabulary and Target.

教学反思:
我在本节课上, 通过各种情景创设,设计了各种语言交际活动,What are you going to do 在语言的运用上,给学生提供了恰当的表现机会,巩固了学生学习的效果。不足的地方:我在组织学生进行活动的过程中,运用的时间有些多,所以在句型What are you going to do 的授课上,略显匆忙。这一环节应该进一步巩固。总的来说,本课堂的教学思路考虑到了从学生的兴趣、生活经验及认知水平出发,注意培养学生的表达能力及动手能力,在新知识的教授过程中,也进行了恰当的操练和巩固,从这堂课的施教情况来看,学生能积极主动地学习英语,并将所学的知识自然有效地运用于生活实际,收到了“现学现用、学用结合”的成效。
