I

the

That's
right.
And
it
took
the

three
hours
to

At

W:

And
I

M:
Oh,I

I
can
understand
that.
Um,I
think
you've
got
the

and
take
this
medicine
once
every

else
should

W:
Can
I
have
a
talk
with
you,now,Mr
Smith
M:
Sure,
what
is
it
W:
Well,I
feel
so
lonely.
How
I
wish
I
had
a
good
friend!
Could
you
give
me
some
advice
M:
Sit
here,
please.
Take
it
easy.
W:
I
spend
most
of
my
time
studying.
I
hardly
talk
to
my
classmates.
M:
I
see.
Your
problem
is
common
among
middle
school
students.
First
of
all,believe
in
yourself.
You
just
lack
self confidence.
The
first
thing
you
must
do
is
to
smile
at
your
classmates.
Your
smile
will
show
that
you
are
friendly
to
them.
W:
But
I
do
want
to
talk.
I
just
don't
know
what
to
talk
about
and
how
to
begin
a
conversation.
M:
You
may
try
talking
with
a
student
who
is
as
shy
as
yourself
or
who
shares
the
same
interests
as
you.
You
can
ask
a
classmate
about
your
studies,and
you
can
also
talk
about
the
hobbies
in
common
with
him
or
her.
If
a
classmate
is
in
trouble
in
life
or
study,
you
should
be
ready
to
help.
Once
you
have
more
confidence,
you
can
make
as
many
friends
as
you
want.
W:
I'm
feeling
much
better
now.
Thank
you
very
much,Mr
Smith.

The
world
of

has
never
been
the
same
since
the
formation
of
a
band
in
Liverpool,England
in
1956.
The
Beatles
was
formed
by
George
Harrison,Ringo
Star,
Paul
Mc Cartney,
and
John
Lennon.
Their
first

song
Love

in

The
Beatles
quickly
became
the
world's

pop
music
group
and
many
people
today
still
regard
them
as
the
finest
band
in
the
history
of
pop
music.
Lennon
and
Mc-Cartney
were
the
authors
of
the
songs
the
group
recorded.
Harrison
also
wrote
songs,often
using
ideas
from
Indian
music.
The
drummer
of
the
group
was
the
famous
Ringo
Star
and
he
occasionally
sang.
For
six
years
The
Beatles
had
hit
after
hit
songs.
Twenty-eight
of
their
songs
were
on
the
top
twenty
record
charts
and
seventeen
of
these
songs
reached
number
one
on
the
charts.
The
group
also
had
a
successfully
movie
career.
The
comedies
A
hard
day's
night
and
yellow
submarine
became
very
successfully
movies.
People
imitated
their
long
hairstyles,
clothing,
and
humour.
Almost
all
later
pop
bands
learned
from
the
Beatles.
Beatle
mania

used
to
describe
how
strong
and
loyal
the
fans
were.

第二部分 阅读理解(共两节,满分40分)
第一节(共15小题;每小题2分,满分30分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的四个选项(A、B、C和D)中,选出最佳选项。
A
Most
painters
discover
a
style
of
painting
that
is
fit
for
them
and
stick
to
it,
especially
if
people
admire
their
pictures.
But
Picasso,
the
great
Spanish
painter,
was
like
a
man
who
had
not
yet
found
his
own
particular
style
of
painting,lie
kept
on
struggling
to
find
the
perfect
expression
till
his
death
in
1973.
Some
of
Picasso's
paintings
are
rich
soft
colored
and
beautiful.
Others
are
ugly,
cruel
and
strange.
But
such
paintings
allow
us
to
imagine
things
for
ourselves.
They
force
us
to
say
to
ourselves,
“What
does
he
see
that
makes
him
paint
like
that?”
And
we
begin
to
look
under
the
surface
of
the
things
we
see.
Picasso
painted
thousands
of
pictures
in
different
styles.
Sometimes
he
painted
the
natural
look
of
things.
Sometimes_he_seemed_to_break_them_apart_and_throw_the_pieces_in_our_faces.
He
showed
us
what
the
mind
knew
as
well
as
what
the
eyes
saw.
At
the
age
of
90,he
remained
as
curious
about
the
world
as
he
had
been
when
he
was
young.
That
is
why
people
have
called
him
“the
youngest
painter
in
the
world”.
21.In
the
passage
the
writer
wants
to
tell
us
________.
A.
about
some
pictures
which
have
different
styles
B.
about
Picasso's
style
of
painting
C.
it
is
not
easy
for
a
painter
to
find
his
own
style
D.
that
Picasso
has
not
found
his
own
particular
style
解析:作者意图题。本文作者的写作意图是介绍毕加索的绘画风格,“不拘风格”正是他的绘画风格。
答案:B
22.The
sentence
“Sometimes
he
seemed
to
break

our
faces”

sometimes
he
tore
his
pictures
into
pieces
B.
he
broke
something
he
was
painting
and
threw
them
away
C.
sometimes
he
showed
some
broken
pictures
to
others
D.
things
in
some
of
his
pictures
seem
to
be
in
disorder
解析:细节理解题。结合上下文看,该句介绍的是毕加索的绘画风格之一,句中“he
seemed
to
...”说明“好像那样”,但并非真正撕碎。
答案:D
23.Why
have
people
called
Picasso
“the
youngest
painter
in
the
world”?
A.
Because
he
observed
things
with
his
eyes
and
mind.
B.
Because
he
looked
young
when
he
was
old.
C.
Because
he
never
stopped
painting
even
when
he
was
old.
D.
Because
he
never
gave
up
looking
for
something
new.
解析:推理判断题。从文章最后两句话可知,毕加索终生追求完美,即使90岁高龄,也还像年轻人那样对世界充满着好奇,所以才被称为“the
youngest
painter
in
the
world”。
答案:D
24.What
do
you
suppose
the

Picasso's
paintings
A.

some
of

admires
them,including
the
ugly
ones.

He
doesn't
like
some
of
them,
but
admires
the
painter.
解析:推理判断题。从全文看出本文作者是毕加索的忠实崇拜者,对毕加索本人及他的作品给予了极高的评价,故选C项。
答案:C

France
has
been
one
of
the
main
pioneers
of
many
forms
of
artistic
expression
throughout

France

are
strongly
connected
with

not
be
possible

The
importance

easily
seen

is
another
great
place
to
visit
in
order
to
enjoy
French
art
and
to

from
this
artist.
The
relation
between
France
and
art
can
be
traced
back
to
as
long
ago
as
the
Stone
Age.
Many
art
works
dating
from
this
period
have
been
found
in
France
and
provide
unique
information
about
the

world.
In
France,
each
different
period
of
time
was
strongly
connected
with
art
and
had
its
own
art
expression
forms
and
characteristics,

The

There

In
Germany,
Vitek
first
had
to
learn
the

He
spent
eight

taking
lessons
at
a
language
school.
It
was
easy
for
him
to
understand
and
read
German,
but
he
could
not
speak
it.
Then
one
night,
he
had
a
dream.
In
his
dream,
he
started
talking
with
others
in
German!
The
following
day,
he
discovered
that
he
could
speak
much
better.
Next,
Vitek
got
back
to
his
studies
in
art.
He
learned
to
restore
(修复)
old
buildings
such
as
churches
and
castles.
He
spent
ten
years
doing
this
kind
of
work,
and
then
he
faced

in
his
life:
He
got
a

in
the
United
States.
Vitek
knew
hardly
any
English,
but
he
did
not
let
that
stop
him.
After
all,
he
had
a
great
deal
of
experience
learning
new
languages.
So
he
decided
to
make
the
move.
Today,
Vitek
is
a
painter,
an
architect
(建筑师),
and
much
more.
He
is
a
man
with
a
lot
of
energy.
He
works
in
his
studio,
he
teaches
art
classes,
and
he
manages
an
art
school.
He
also
likes
to
bring
together
people
with
different
talents
and
abilities
to
do
big
art
projects
in
public
places
so
that
anyone
can
see
and
enjoy
them.
He
says
these
projects
“bring
art
back
to
the
people”.

You
probably
think
you
will
never
be
a
top
student.
This
is
not
necessarily
so,
however.
Anyone
can
become
a
better
student
if
he
or
she
wants
to.
Here's
how.
Plan
your
time
carefully.
When
planning
your
week
time,
you
should
make
a
list
of
things
that
you
have
to
do.
After
making
this
list,
you
should
make
a
schedule
of
your
time.
First
your
time
for
eating,
sleeping,
dressing,
etc.
Then
decide
on
a
good
regular
time
for
studying.
__37__
A
weekly
schedule
may
not
solve
all
your
problems,
but
it
will
force
you
realize
what
is
happening
to
your
time.
Find
a
good
place
to
study.
Look
around
the
house
for
a
good
study
area.
Keep
this
space,
which
may
be
a
desk
or
simply
a
corner
of
your
room,
free
of
everything
but
study
materials
No
games,
radios
or
television.
When
you
sit
down
to
study,
concentrate
on
the
subject.
Make
good
use
of
your
time
in
class.
__38__
Listening
carefully
in
class
means
less
work
later.
Taking
notes
will
help
you
remember
what
the
teacher
says.
Study
regularly.
When
you
get
home
from
school,
go
over
your
notes,
review
the
important
points
that
your
teacher
is
going
to
discuss
the
next
day,
read
that
material.
__39__
If
you
do
these
things
regularly,
the
material
will
become
more
meaningful,
and
you'll
remember
it
longer.
Develop
a
good
attitude
towards
tests.
The
purpose
of
a
test
is
to
show
what
you
have
learned
about
a
subject.
They
help
you

your
new

The

第二部分 阅读理解(共两节,满分40分)
第一节(共15小题;每小题2分,满分30分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的四个选项(A、B、C和D)中,选出最佳选项。
A
Most
painters
discover
a
style
of
painting
that
is
fit
for
them
and
stick
to
it,
especially
if
people
admire
their
pictures.
But
Picasso,
the
great
Spanish
painter,
was
like
a
man
who
had
not
yet
found
his
own
particular
style
of
painting,lie
kept
on
struggling
to
find
the
perfect
expression
till
his
death
in
1973.
Some
of
Picasso's
paintings
are
rich
soft
colored
and
beautiful.
Others
are
ugly,
cruel
and
strange.
But
such
paintings
allow
us
to
imagine
things
for
ourselves.
They
force
us
to
say
to
ourselves,
“What
does
he
see
that
makes
him
paint
like
that?”
And
we
begin
to
look
under
the
surface
of
the
things
we
see.
Picasso
painted
thousands
of
pictures
in
different
styles.
Sometimes
he
painted
the
natural
look
of
things.
Sometimes_he_seemed_to_break_them_apart_and_throw_the_pieces_in_our_faces.
He
showed
us
what
the
mind
knew
as
well
as
what
the
eyes
saw.
At
the
age
of
90,he
remained
as
curious
about
the
world
as
he
had
been
when
he
was
young.
That
is
why
people
have
called
him
“the
youngest
painter
in
the
world”.
21.In
the
passage
the
writer
wants
to
tell
us
________.
A.
about
some
pictures
which
have
different
styles
B.
about
Picasso's
style
of
painting
C.
it
is
not
easy
for
a
painter
to
find
his
own
style
D.
that
Picasso
has
not
found
his
own
particular
style
22.The
sentence
“Sometimes
he
seemed
to
break
them
apart
and
throw
the
pieces
in
our
faces”
means
________.
A.
sometimes
he
tore
his
pictures
into
pieces
B.
he
broke
something
he
was
painting
and
threw
them
away
C.
sometimes
he
showed
some
broken
pictures
to
others
D.
things
in
some
of
his
pictures
seem
to
be
in
disorder
23.Why
have
people
called
Picasso
“the
youngest
painter
in
the
world”?
A.
Because
he
observed
things
with
his
eyes
and
mind.
B.
Because
he
looked
young
when
he
was
old.
C.
Because
he
never
stopped
painting
even
when
he
was
old.
D.
Because
he
never
gave
up
looking
for
something
new.
24.What
do
you
suppose
the
writer
thinks
of
Picasso's
paintings
A.
He
doesn't
understand
some
of
them.
B.
He
thinks
some
of
them
are
valuable,
and
some
are
not.
C.
He
admires
them,including
the
ugly
ones.
D.
He
doesn't

France
has
been
one
of
the
main
pioneers
of
many
forms
of
artistic
expression
throughout
its
history.
France
and
art
are
strongly
connected
with
each
other,
and
it
would
not
be
possible
to
think
of
world
art
without
thinking
of
France.
The
importance
of
art
in
France
can
be
easily
seen
by
the
great
number
of
museums
and
art
exhibitions
throughout
the
country.
They
include
the
Musée
du
Louvre,
which
is
one
of
the
great
museums
of
the
world.
There
is
also
the
Musée
du
Moyen
Age
in
this
list,
which
exhibits
medieval
art
works,
and
the
Centre
Pompidou,
exhibiting
art
from
the
twentieth
century.
Among
other
important
museums
and
exhibitions
are
the
Musée
d'
Orsay,
where
visitors
can
observe
a
collection
of
French
art
from
the
century,
and
the
Musée
Picasso,
which
exhibits
amazing
art
works
from
this
outstanding
artist.
The
Musée
Rodin
is
another
great
place
to
visit
in
order
to
enjoy
French
art
and
to
observe
some
amazing
sculptures
from
this
artist.
The
relation
between
France
and
art
can
be
traced
back
to
as
long
ago
as
the
Stone
Age.
Many
art
works
dating
from
this
period
have
been
found
in
France
and
provide
unique
information
about
the
culture
and
art
of
the
world.
In
France,
each
different
period
of
time
was
strongly
connected
with
art
and
had
its
own
art
expression
forms
and
characteristics,
and
they
were
closely
connected
with
French
history
and
culture.

In
1981,
the
artist
Vitek
Kruta
escaped
to
Germany.
He
was
nineteen
years
old
at
the
time.
Vitek's
home
was
in
Prague.
He
loved
his
country,
but
he
could
not
stay
there
because
the
government
wanted
to
put
him
into
prison.
“The
government
wanted
total
control
of
all
art
and
music,”
he
explains.
“We
had
to

In
Germany,
Vitek
first
had

He
spent
eight
months
taking
lessons
at
a

school.
It
was
easy
for
him
to

and
read
German,
but
he
could
not

Then
one
night,
he
had
a

In
his
dream,
he
started
talking
with
others
in
German!
The
following
day,
he
discovered
that
he
could
speak
much
better.
Next,
Vitek
got
back
to
his
studies
in
art.
He
learned
to
restore
(修复)
old
buildings
such
as
churches
and
castles.
He
spent
ten
years
doing
this
kind
of
work,
and

he

Vitek
knew
hardly
any

but
he
did
not
let
that
stop
him.
After
all,
he
had
a
great
deal
of
experience
learning
new

So
he
decided
to
make
the
move.
Today,
Vitek
is
a
painter,
an
architect
(建筑师),
and
much
more.
He
is
a
man
with
a
lot
of
energy.
He
works
in
his

he
teaches

and
he
manages

in

places
so
that

can

says
these

When
Frida
Kahlo's
paintings
were
on
show
in
London,
a
poet
described
her
paintings
as
“a
ribbon
(丝带)
around
a
bomb”.
Such
comments
seem
to
suggest
Kahlo
had
a
big
influence
on
the
art
world
of
her
time.
Sadly,
she
is
actually
a_much_bigger_name
today
than
she
was
during
her
time.
Born
in
1907
in
a
village
near
Mexico
City,
Kahlo
suffered
from
polio
(小儿麻痹症)
at
the
age
of
seven.
Her
spine
(脊柱)
became
bent
as
she
grew
older.
Then,
in
1925,
her
back
was
broken
in
several
places
in
a
school bus
accident.
Throughout
the
rest
of
her
life,the
artist
had
many
operations,
but
nothing
was
able
to
cure
the
terrible
pain
in
her
back.
However,
the
accident
had
an
unexpected
side
effect.
While
lying
in
her
bed
recovering,
Kahlo
taught
herself
to
paint.
In
1929,
she
got
married
to
Diego
Rivera,
another
famous
Mexican
artist.
Rivera's
strong
influence
on
Kahlo's
style
can
be
seen
in
her
early
works,
but
her
later
works
from
the
1940s,
known
today
as
her
best
works,
show
less
influence
from
her
husband.
Unfortunately,her
works
did
not
attract
much
attention
in
the
1930s
and
1940s,even
in
her
home
country.
Her
first
one woman
show
in
Mexico
was
not
held
until
1953.
For
more
than
a
decade
after
her
death
in
1954,
Kahlo's
works
remained
largely
unnoticed
by
the
world,
but
in
the
1970s
her
works
began
to
gain
international
fame
at
last.
