设计思路
本课教学内容是“询问和确定物品数量”，鉴于低年段学情和教材特点，本节课教学设计思路是：
1.重视语言学习的实践性和应用性。在活动情境中突破难点。如Let’s guess 及Let’s talk部分，创设真实的情景并用文具等具体形象的物品帮助学生记忆how many...?句型，旨在培养学生语用能力，学以致用。
2.注重语言学习的趣味性。在游戏和活动体验中获得知识。如导入部分，以生动形象的怪兽图导入How many…？, 以此吸引学生眼球。在Let’s guess环节，教师化身魔术师，让学生猜测魔术帽中物品的数量，一改枯燥的传统式操练，以此激发学生好奇心和开口说英语的欲望。
3.体现知识的复现率和螺旋式上升的模块建筑式理念。巩固部分基于本课知识点，通过整合学生在前面单元所学的单词及句型，进行文本再构，达到新知与旧知的有效结合。

1.能听、说、读、认one，two，three，four，five和six这几个数字，发音正确。
2.能用特殊疑问句How many...？向他人询问物品的数量，并能根据实际情况做出正确的回答，语音语调正确。
教学重点难点
重点：
1.单词：熟练认读one, two, three, four, five, six这几个数字。
2.句型：能听懂，会说，会读句型 How many...? 语音语调正确。
难点：名词的单复数形式。
教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
1.Greetings.
2. Let’s sing. Have the Ss review the numbers with a number song.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Lead in：Let’s count.
2.Present the sentence pattern “how many…?” with a clown’s face. And let the Ss count the eyes, ears, noses and mouths of the clown.
Step 3 Practice
1.Let’s ask and answer.
Instruct the Ss to ask and answer like the following:
How many books? One book.
How many books? Two books.
2.Let’s guess.
The teacher acts as a magician and let the Ss guess how many…in the magic hat.
Step 4 Consolidation and?extension?
1. Let’s talk.
Show the following dialogue and let the Ss practice in pairs.
A: Give me some pencils, please. B: How many pencils?
A: Three pencils. B: Here you are.
A: Thank you. B: You’re welcome.
2. Let’s make a dialogue.
Have the Ss make a new dialogue with other words they learned based on the above sentence patterns.
