该课型属于对话教学,本课的设计思路为:围绕课堂主题,引导学生在寻找文中人物过去到现在的改变的过程中理解文本、学习句型、训练朗读,练习对话,并通过分享自己的成长改变和介绍朋友的变化来运用句型,锻炼语言表达能力。
首先利用绘图展示世间万物的生长变化,再通过展示老师本人的旧照片让学生感受每个人小时候和现在的不同,以此引出话题“change”和关键句“We
are
all
different
now.”
紧接着进入主题,带领学生一起寻找Mike的成长改变。学生通过完成Let’s
try部分的练习,找到Mike的第一个变化。
继而过渡到文本中的内容,通过观看全文动画,让学生初步、全面感知文本,带领学生找到Mike的第二个变化,并针对关键句型进行运用和操练。
接下来通过听录音,让学生找到Mike的第三个变化,并重点训练“Before,
I
was…
Now,
I
am…”这个句型,引导学生运用这个句型来说一说。
然后回到板书,运用句型“Before,
I…,
Now,
I…”依次总结Mike的变化。紧接着进入下一个部分:John的改变。引导学生自己在书中寻找答案,划出句子,指导学生朗读。
操练部分呈现全文,让学生认真模仿录音的语音语调进行跟读后,三人小组进行分角色朗读并展示。随后再次展示老师的旧照片,示范总结老师的变化,并让学生试着分享自己的变化。
拓展部分带领学生总结Mike的变化,让学生在不同的时态和人称下正确使用动词,再让学生来总结John的变化,最后让学生讨论、分享自己同伴的变化。
整个教学过程一步一步循序渐进,注重师生、生生间交流,由课本内容到实际生活,使学生通过学习课本对话掌握关键单词和句子的表达,并能运用所学分享自我的成长改变、介绍同伴的变化,在分享和交流过程中提高学生语言表达能力。
