Teaching Aims:
1. Learning the new words.
2. Using predicative adjectives to describe objects.
3. Asking ‘Wh-’ questions to find out specific information about a person.

1. Vocabulary:
（1）Adjective: thick, thin, new, old, long, short
（2）Noun: felt pens, brushes, paints
（3）Pronoun: these, those

These/ those are…. What have you got
Teaching Aids:
Word cards, crayons, felt pens, thin and thick books.
Teaching Procedures:
Procedures Contents Methods Purpose
Pre-task preparation Warm-up Bring crayons, felt pens, brushes and paints. 运用实物为学生创设真实有意义的情景，让学生得到直观的感性认识。在交谈中引入新知，轻松自然。
Free talk:stationery Talk about the stationeries the students have in new term. Students ask and answer in pairs.
While-task procedure Look and read “At the bookshop.” 1. Introduce: crayons, felt pens, brushes and paints by holding these things up.2. Introduce thick, thin using books of different thickness.Play the cassette: Say and act. To elicit: These brushes are new.Those brushes are new. 4. Students make sentences by using new words.Bingo game to practice new words. 1. 使学生通过观察，利用学生的生活经验开展学习，更能帮助学生认知。2. 训练学生听力,使学生通过听音迅速获得需要的信息。3. 通过运用新学习的单词造句使学生轻松掌握句式。4. Bingo在游戏中强化单词记忆。
Post-task Consolidation Act the dialogue.A memory game. Students follow the tapes and act the dialogue.Try to memorize what the teacher has got. 角色扮演为学生提供自我表现、自我发挥和团结协作的机会。
