Teaching Aims:
1. To learn how to do a card about pet.
2. To let the students know how to introduce own pet.
Language Focus:
1. Using imperatives to give instructions. e.g.: Fold the paper.
2. Using predicative and attributive adjectives to describe animals. e.g.: It’s small. It has got short ears.

Procedures Contents Methods Purpose
Pre-task preparation 1. About pet. 1. Ask students questions about their pets.Have you got a pet Is it big/small What color is it Has it got long/ short ears Has it got a tail Has it got long/ short hair Etc.2. Review some words.paper, pencil, crayons, fold, draw, pet, write 复习上节课的知识，熟练掌握Has it got… 这个句型。复习已学过的单词，有助于本节新课，为新课做了很好的铺垫。
While-task procedure 2. play a game 1. Listen to the tape, and follow the tape. 2. According to the tape, do a piece of paper and write some sentences about the pets.3. Introduce your own pet.4. It is big/small. It is （color）. It has got… It is soft/ rough. 听音跟读，能够很好的锻炼孩子的听力水平和模仿水平。简单地陈述自己宠物，能够提高孩子的口语水平的提高。、生生互动合作交流、非常轻松的气氛中学习用英语交流并掌握句型。
