Pre-task preparation 1. Review 1. Discuss their weather cards in the group.What’s the weather like in … In … it’s …2. Share the information they have got. 根据对周围事物颜色及颜色变化的观察引出主题
While-task procedure 2. Look and read 1. Tell the students that Kitty has written a letter to her pen-friend. Introduce: pen-friend.2. The students quietly read the letter for a few minutes. Then play the recording: Read and write. The students listen and follow in their books.3. Think about the form of an English letter.4. Ask them to look at the chart on page 40 of the Student’s Book to check if Kitty has given Helen the correct information5. Read the letter. 通过描述图片让学生掌握颜色随时间地点变化的叙述。训练学生听力,使学生通过听音迅速获得需要的信息。
Post-task Consolidation 3. Output:Short Narrative 1. Tell the students that Helen wants to write a reply letter to Kitty but she is not good at writing letters.
