Procedures Contents Methods Purpose
Pre-task preparation Warm-up Sing a song ‘Head, shoulders, knees, and toes.’ Students sing and act. 演唱英文歌曲复习旧知，激发学生学习兴趣，自然导入新课。
Quick response reviews different part of the body （Pictures: Parts of the body of the animals）Look at the pictures as quickly as possible. 训练学生快速反应能力，集中学生注意力，实现高效复习。
While-task procedure 1. New words Ask students if they know what is missing on your drawing. Introduce: tail and donkey. 通过让学生观察图片培养学生认真观察与思考的能力。
2. Listen and repeat Students listen to the tape and repeat after the tape. 通过听读、复述训练学生听力。
3. A game Ask students to look at the cut-outs in Play a game.Put the paper cut-outs on the board, students take turns to wear the blindfold and match the cut-outs with the animal. 通过游戏巩固所学新知，寓教于乐。
Post-task Consolidation Play and practice Students play the matching game in pairs and say the sentences in Touch and feel. 让学生分组练习在游戏的同时练习所学句型。
