2. Using prepositions to indicate positions.
3. Asking Wh- questions to find out the position.
4. Learn the sound of ‘-ll’

Preposition: in, on, under, behind, beside.
2. Conversations: Where’s Kally’s drum It’s behind her chair.

word cards, crayons, felt pens, thin and thick books.

Pre-task preparation 1. Bingo Review the words about musical instruments. 让学生听命令并做出正确的反应，一方面调动学生的听力。另一方面为本课将出现的内容作铺垫，使学生在听觉上对所要学新知有个初步的感知，降低学习难度。
2. Warm-up Ask students to put their pens or books in the right positions according to your instructions.
While-task procedure 1. Learn the prepositions. Teach the prepositions by putting the pen and the book in different positions. 通过教师的动作让学生对于方位介词的理解更加直观形象。
2. Introduction Ask students to introduce the picture in pairs. 以对话的形式，用学生熟悉的内容，让学生在小范围内进行语言知识的操练，掌握新句型的基本结构和表达方式。为实际意义的操练做准备。
3. Ask and answer. Ask students to practice in pairs.S1: Where’s … S2: It’s ….
4. Listen and practice. 1. Students listen and repeat.2. Divide students into pairs or groups. Let them continue the game by using the dialogue ‘Where’s Kally’s dram It’s under her chair.’ 让学生通过听音重复将所学知识巩固。通过分组游戏的方式让孩子们操练新句型使学生在快乐中学习。
Post-task Consolidation Finding game Invite some students to come to the front of the class with their eyes closed. Invite some other students to put an object somewhere in the classroom and ask ‘Where’s … ’ The students with eyes closed then open their eyes and walk around the classroom to find out where the object is. When they find it, they should say ‘It’s …’ 通过游戏的方式让学生有机地利用教室的环境，尝试用新学的句子表达。
Learn the sound ‘-ll’ Play the cassette. Students listen and repeat after it.Invite individual students to read the sentence. 学习“-ll”的发音。让学生对音标有一个初步的了解。
Assignment 结合课文图片用所学介词造句。跟随磁带朗读课文。完成语法训练相应内容。
