Procedures Contents Methods Purpose
Pre-task preparation 1. Warming-up Sing a song. 营造英语氛围。
2. Game and race Divide the students to different groups. Ask students to talk about the fruit they know and see which group is the best.The teacher uses a game to review the opposite words and at the same time leads in new words through touching real things. 通过游戏及比赛让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中进入到英语课学习。同时在对知识的复习中进入新知识的学习。
While-task procedure 1. Riddles The teacher gives students a riddle about a kind of fruit and lead in the word “pineapple”. Ask one student to touch the pineapple and tell the teacher how it feels to lead in new word “rough”. And then other words. 通过猜谜语的方式轻松引入新知,吸引学生注意力让学生更好的掌握新知。通过触摸菠萝让学生更直观生动的理解单词。
2. Description Show students a picture of an apple and let students describe it by giving them sentence patterns. 通过给学生句型让他们描述激发学生兴趣的同时也练习了相关知识及句型。
3. Guessing game Ask one student to describe the fruit they know and let other students to guess it. 通过小游戏刺激学生的参与性,同时进行句型及单词的操练。
4. Read and answer Ask students to read the dialogue and practice the new sentence pattern. Then answer the teacher’s questions. 让学生通过阅读对话培养英语语感。在回答问题中加深对于对话的理解。
5. Group work Ask students to practice the dialogue in groups and show it in front of the class. 让学生通过小组合作操练对话,并学会将所学知识应用。
Post-task Consolidation 1.A game Ask students to play a guessing game to practice the sentences and the new words. 通过游戏复习运用所学知识。同时还可以调动学生学习英语的积极性,调节课堂气氛。
Assignment Ask students to draw a kind of fruit they like and use English to describe the fruit.
