Topic: The fox and the grapes
Teaching Aims:
1. To learn a fable story “The fox and the grapes”
2. To learn the new words.
3. To let students know the reason that the story expresses.

Procedures Contents Methods Purpose
Pre-task preparation 1. Warming-up Sing a song together. Then have a daily talk with pupils. 通过歌曲和师生间谈话让学生尽快进入学英语状态，并复习以前的有关句型。
While-task procedure 1. Riddles The teacher gives students a riddle about grape and let them guess. 通过猜谜语的方式轻松引入新知，吸引学生注意力让学生更好的掌握新知。
2. Description Show students the picture of the grape and let the students describe the grape from its shape, color, taste and so on. 出示图片让学生描述一来吸引学生注意力，二来通过描述复习知识为新知的学习进行铺垫。
3. Free talk Ask students who like grapes and why. Let students practice talk in pairs. 为学生创造自由对话的机会，让学生就相关内容进行口语练习。
4. Ask and answer Give students a question who likes grapes to lead in the animal fox 通过提问促进学生思考，引入故事，训练学生思维。
5. Listen and read Give students some questions about the story. Ask students to listen to the tape and read the story carefully. And then answer the teacher’s question. 让学生带着问题听故事读故事等促进学生更好的理解故事内容同时有助于学生集中注意力。
Post-task Consolidation 1. Fable story Tell students the fable story about the fox and the grapes and let students say something they think through the story. 扩展伊索寓言中的狐狸和葡萄的故事，同时让学生通过思考得出自己的理解。
2. Act the story in text book. Ask students to do a role-play and let them act the story in front of the class. 让学生表演所学故事练习所学知识，同时体验合作的快乐。
Assignment Ask students to draw pictures and write a story about the fox and the grapes they think.
