Pre-task preparation 1. Warming-up Ask pupils to sing a song. 通过歌曲创设英语学习情境，帮助学生快速进入英语学习状态。
2. Free talk Ask pupils to talk about their birthdays. What do they do on their birthdays What do they drink … 通过自由对话让学生进行口语练习，同时为新知的呈现做铺垫。
While-task procedure 1. Presentation Introduce students a new friend Winnie and tell them today is Winnie’s birthday. And let them think what Winnie does on her birthday party. 通过介绍新朋友吸引学生注意力，让学生进行猜测扩展学生思维，促进学生思考。
2. Play a guessing game Ask students to guess what they drink on Winnie’s birthday party. And tell the students the drinks— apple juice, lemon juice, orange juice and so on. Let the students guess what they are through smelling or tasting. 通过游戏让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中学习英语。同时提高学生学习的兴趣。通过猜谜也锻炼学生思维能力吸引学生注意力。
3. Listen and answer Ask students to listen to the tape carefully and then ask some comprehension questions 让学生听磁带回答问题锻炼学生听力能力和快速记忆能力。
4. Group work Ask students to do a role-play in groups and then let them act the dialogue in front of class. 通过角色表演加深对对话的理解同时促进对知识的应用。
