2. To let students know the all the five senses.
3. To let students know how to express their senses.

Teaching Aids:
fruit and snacks, the multi-media system
Procedures Contents Methods Purpose
Pre-task preparation 1. Warm-up Sing a song. 营造英语氛围。
2. Daily talk Ask some students to talk about their own friend to lead in new contents— a story about Ben’ friend. 利用简单的对话让学生练习口语对话。同时创设故事情景引入新内容让学生更易理解。
While-task procedure 1. Five senses Show a picture of Ben and David and introduce them to students that David is blind to lead in new word blind and five senses. 通过Ben和David 的故事学习新单词 “blind”, 同时扩展五种感觉的英语说法。扩大语言输入量。
2. Ask and answer Ask students to guess what can David do and what can’t he do. The teacher tells the students what has happened in the story. 通过问答调动学生思维。通过故事的发展调动学生积极性,同时使课堂内容更具有连贯性。
3. Read and answer Ask students to read the story loudly and then answer the teacher’s question. 通过问答加深学生对课文的理解。
4. Act the story Ask students to practice the story and then act the story in front of the class. 通过表演故事让学生能将所学的内容更好的运用。
Post-task Consolidation 1. A game Ask two students to come to the front. Close one student’s eyes to play a guessing game. 通过游戏复习运用所学知识。同时还可以调动学生学习英语的积极性,调节课堂气氛。
Assignment Ask students to practice the story after class.
