【辨析】reward,award,prize
(1)reward多指对某人的帮助、工作或服务等的报答,如帮助警察抓到罪犯或帮助失主找到东西而得到的赏金和酬金。
(2)award指一种官方的奖励行为,往往用来奖励在工作中达到一定成就的人,重在强调荣誉而不在于奖品的大小或奖金的多少。
(3)reward和award均可用作动词,award的意思是“授予,颁发;判给”;reward则表示“报答,酬谢”之意。亦可从结构上区分两者:reward sb.for sth.,award sb.sth.。
(4)prize多指在各类竞赛、竞争或抽奖中所获得的奖。这种奖赏有的凭能力获得,有的凭运气获得。

写作指导
人物介绍是高考中常见的书面表达形式之一,它主要是简单介绍某人的生平,从外貌到性格,从事迹到品质来进行描述。若作者语言基础扎实,就会写得有声有色。如果作者思想深刻,夹叙夹议,就会给人以教育和启迪。
Ⅰ.注意事项
1.人物写作通常需要介绍人物的姓名、年龄、外貌、学历、经历、专业、爱好、特长、事迹、性格等多个方面,但英语写作需要严格按照写作要求来写,要包括所给的全部信息点,既不能遗漏,也不能随意添加。
2.对题目所给的信息要进行适当重组,安排好写作顺序,突出重点信息。
