这节课设计的教学思路是:让学生运用多种方法操练句型 “I can do sth.I want to join the art club.”学会运用情态动词谈论自己的喜好与意愿及在某一方面所具备的才能。通过实践我有以下几点体会:21世纪教育网版权所有
1、交际式教学:通过创设有利于学生全面主动发挥的各种交际实践活动,让学生相互合作,相互交流,确立学生在学习过程中的主体地位,帮助学生自主地学,自觉地学,让学生的各种潜能和创新精神得到充分的发挥。21教育网
2、运用多媒体辅助教学:多媒体集视听于一体,更直观更生动形象更具刺激性和吸引力,图片及音像资料有助于学生更直观地更具体地理解掌握教学内容,如生词的教学、目标语的呈现,也提高了课堂教学效率,增大了课堂容量。21cnjy.com
3、采用“任务型”语言教学模式:“任务型”教学模式强调从学生的学习兴趣,生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验,实践,参与,合作与交流的学习方式和任务型教学途径,发展学生的语言运用能力,提高人文素养,增强实践能力,培养创新精神。本课在各教学环节设计了不同的“任务”如调查报告,歌曲等,让学生在完成任务过程中使用目标语从而落实语言教学目标。
4、小组合作探究性学习:将学生分组,学生间的信息差产生了交流的必要性,推动了学生进一步合作交流,讨论彼此的能力和愿望。在合作中完成对重点词组、句型、对话的理解、训练和巩固。
5.游戏,唱歌等多种教学方式,激发兴趣提高教学效果。
本节课中让我感到不足的是新内容引入和操练时间稍少,设计的内容稍多,有些步骤较匆忙,在今后的教学中要注意教学形式和方法的多样化又要注意内容的紧凑准确。

教材分析
本课教学内容为鲁教版六年级(下) unit 3 can you play the guitar?section A (1a--2d),其内容主要围绕“加人俱乐部,谈论自己的能力”这一话题展开,要求学生能通过听说活动运用情态动词can谈论自己在某一方面的能力、喜好和意愿。1a所呈现的是五个不同的俱乐部在招聘学生,学生可根据自己的才艺和特点报名参加,由此引出运用情态动词can谈论自己在某一方面的能力、喜好和意愿。听力部分则是三则小对话,均为同学们据自己的喜好、才艺和特点想参加三个不同的俱乐部(music club; swimming club; art club)。这些教学内容与学生的日常生活紧密相关,相信在教学中一定能激起他们的兴趣和关注。
教材的地位及作用:《新课程标准》中指出,语言课程丰富的人文内涵对学生精神领域的影响是深远的,学生对于英语材料的反应又是多元的,因而英语课更重视英语的熏陶感染作用,注意教学内容的价值取向。本课时是本单元的第一课时,教材内容围绕着谈论自己某一方面的能力展开,让学生学会谈论自己及别人的能力,符合语言认知规律和学生心理特点。在词汇学习上既承接了前一单元的最喜欢的学科又为后一单元谈论自己何时做某事打好基础。本课的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中运用进行交际,培养学生的口语表达能力。让学生在学习及应用中,复习巩固以前所学知识,并加以创新,并用到实践中。通过伙伴交流,师生问答的形式,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进友谊。本课是谈论学生某一方面的能力,与学生课外活动息息相关,有利于培养学生高雅的生活情趣。21世纪教育网版权所有

Step 1 Warming-up

Ask the studenets to look at the pictures, there are some clubs in it. Teach the word and phrases : join the club, speak English. Then finish 1a, let students match the words with the people, Then Check the answers with the class together. Read the sentences on the Bb together,
Step 3 Pair work

Step 4 Discussion

Step 6 Listening

Step 7 Pair work
. Look at 2b and talk about what the people can do and the clubs they want to join.
Make a model with one student like this :
T: What club does Lisa want to join?
S1: She wants to join the chess club.
T: Can she play chess?
S1: No, she can't.
Then Ss work in pairs to practice asking and answer about Lisa, Bob and Mary.
Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.
Step 8 Role-play
1. Ask Ss to listen to the conversation; try to find out the answers to these questions.
