一、由as引导的限制性定语从句：
当先行项被the same, such, so等修饰时，无论指人指物均用关系代词as，构成固定句型：
the same…as, such…as, so…as, as…as 等。
★Don’t believe in such men as praise you to your face.
★I never give my students so difficult a question as no one can work out.
★This is not such a book as I expected.
★I live in the same building as he (lives in).
★Here is so big a stone as no man can lift.
★As many children as came here were my father’s pupils.
【比较】 the same…that…和the same…as…的区别
I have bought the same watch as you have.
我买了一块和你一样的手表。（我的手表和你的手表很像，但不是同一块。）
This is the same watch that I lost.
这就是我丢的那块手表。（这手表和我丢的手表是同一块）
This is the same book as you bought yesterday.（同类书）
This is the same book that you bought yesterday.（同一本书)
二、由as 和which引导的非限制性定语从句的异同：
1.由as, which 引导的非限定性定语从句，as和which均可代整个主句，相当于and this或and that。As一般可置于主句句首、句中或句末，而which只能位于主句之后。如从句在主句之后，两者皆可用，常可互换。
▲He is an American, as/which we know from his accent.
▲As we know from his accent, he is an American.
▲He, as we know from his accent, is an American.
▲As has been said above, grammar is not a set of dead rules.
▲Grammar, as has been said above, is not a set of rules.

2.As引导的非限制性定语从句常构成一些固定句型，若用于句中则作为插入语，which则不需要。.
as everyone knows, as we all know, as is known to all, as is said, as is reported in the newspaper, as is often the case, as you may still remember, as you said, as I can see, as has been mentioned above, as you may have heard, and etc.
▼Tom, as we all know, is mean with his money.
▼The book, as was introduced just now, is a best-seller these days.
▼The man died last night, which is a lie
3. as 和which在引导非限制性定语从句时，这两个关系代词都指主句所表达的整个意思，且在定语从句中都可以作主语，宾语，表语。但as 代表前面的整个主句并在从句中作主语时，从句中的谓语必须是系动词；若为行为动词，则从句中的关系代词只能用which。
