重点 四会掌握单词polite, hard-working, helpful, clever和shy。能够对人物性格特征进行正确描述。
难点 利用单词的音节、字母组合的发音规则、构词法等形式认读识记生词。结合语境对helpful, hard-working语义的理解，避免意思理解的单一和片面。

( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )出示单词和发音，学生跟读。接着出示更多图片，帮助对词汇意思的深刻理解。 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )2）同样的方式学习polite, hard-working, clever和shy。2.Watch and learn. 播放flash动画。通过看、听、跟读多感官学习生词。3. Practice 1)音义匹配。听发音快速说出汉语意思。 2）Look and say. 看图说出对应的单词。 3）Look and read. 出示单词，快速认读。 4）转盘游戏。根据汉语意思，说出对应的单词。 5）Ask and answer. 呈现主情景图，通过会话运用所学词汇。 Think and answerLook, listen and readWatch and learn.Look and say.Ask and answer 通过创设图片情景和会话，在语境中学习生词。通过观看视频、音义匹配、转盘游戏等不同活动形式，在体验、运用中学习运用词汇。
Consolidation 1. Match and say1）学生独立完成看图连句子的任务。然后集体核对答案。2）Fill and talk. 结合图 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )片提示补全空缺，然后两人一组开展对话练习。 引导学生注意人称代词he /she/ they和所跟be动词的正确使用。2. Make a survey. 小组合作，讨论班上最具有代表性的同学。 3.Summary. 课堂小结，总结本课所学语言知识。4.Exercise. 听力练习。 Fill in the blanks and then ask and answer in pairs.Think and answer. 通过本环节的巩固练习和调查活动，做到由语言输入到语言输出。
Homework 1.听录音跟读本课单词，并规范抄写在四线格上。
2.运用所学单词描述自己熟悉的人并写下来，不少于五句话。 3.完成同步练习 。 根据个人学力，分层完成任务。 设置不同层次作业。
