定语从句精讲精练——带插入语的定语从句
第一部分 讲解——带插入语的定语从句
【定义】即在定语从句中含有I(we/ he/ she/ you) think(thinks/ know/ suppose/ guess/ hope)的定语从句。
【例1】
This is my uncle, Mr. Wang, who, I guess, will help you finish the job in three hours.
【解题方法】在做带插入语的定语从句时，应先将插入语去掉从而判断清楚定语从句中所缺成分，再选择合适的关系词。
【例2】
The manager called for Tom, _____ he thinks is the best for the job.
【解题】去掉he thinks, 则从句中缺少句子主语，应用who指代Tom作句子主语。
