让学生5-6人自由结合为一组,根据第6-8单元内容,共同合作编写一小段对话(题目自拟,但应围绕一个中心)。先写出来,经过共同修改后,进行排练。上课时,每组轮流上讲台进行表演。(教师可以邀请其他英语教师作评委,评出“最佳表演得主”)。
课前准备
教师课前需要准备录音机、磁带和教学挂图。教学过程1.Warm-up.
上课时,教师可以用第6-8单元的教学内容向学生进行询问或直接跟学生对话,引导学生用学过的内容积极响应。比如,看见某座位空着,教师可以问:Why isn‘t XXX here? Is he/she ill?或者走到一个学生跟前问:What are you good at? Do you enjoy playing basketball?等,以复习和巩固第6-8单元内容,将学生注意力转移到课堂教学上来,以便进行本节复习课教学。2.Activity 1的教学:
(1)让学生看Listen and number图片
内容,教师指导学生读图,特别要注意What's
wrong with them?这句提示语,表明录音是
谈论与疾病有关的内容。
(2)播放录音,先让学生认真听。然后,
根据录音内容,给图片编号。活动1录音材料:
— Li Xiao, how are you feeling?
— Oh mum, I'm not feeling well. I think I am getting sick.

(1)让学生看Listen and write中图片内容,教师指导学生读图,先让学生浏览图片中各部分,大致知道各部分的大意,以明确需要从录音中获得哪些信息。
(2)播放录音,先让学生认真听。然后,根据录音内容,分别填写Andy, Wang Li, Zhou Lin和Amy的生日日期,喜欢什么、擅长什么、想要什么等。活动2录音材料:
— Wang Li, when is your birthday?
— My birthday is in May. How about you, Amy? When is your birthday?
— February. My birthday is in February.
— What do you want for your birthday?
— I want a book for my birthday. I enjoy reading.

(1)让学生看Talk to your classmates内容,明白主要内容和要求。
(2)根据方框中问句所涉及的内容,让学生仿照Example写一段话,向同学介绍一下某位同学的基本情况。5.Activity 4的教学:
(1)先让学生观察图片,知道短文主要内容是关于体育活动。
(2)让学生阅读短文及括号中所给的词,明白短文的大意。
(3)组织学生分组讨论,看空格中应填写什么词,怎么续写短文结尾。
(4)让学生听录音,选词填写在空格中。
(5)让学生再认真看图片内容,根据短文和图片内容续写短文结尾。活动4录音材料:
— Today is the fifth day in March. It's Mar. 5th. It's the School Sports Day. All the children are very excited. Zhou Lin, Li Xiao and Andy are going to run in a race.

朗读和角色扮演:教师组织多种形式的朗读练习并进行角色扮演,还可以让部分学生用自己的语言复述故事。这样做,能体现出故事教学的层次性,给不同层次的学生提供多种形式的操练机会。
课前准备
教师课前需要准备教学挂图、图片或幻灯片等。教学过程1.Activity 5的教学:
(1)让学生先看每个方框中的一组词,
注意红体的字母组合及读音。
(2)找出每组红体字母组合中与其他
读音不同的词,用笔圈起来。2.Activity 6的教学:
(1)让学生先看每个方框中的一组词,注意分辨它们的类别(词性,属性等)。
(2)在每组词中找出不同类别的词,用笔画掉。3.Activity 7的教学:
(1)让学生在表格空白处填写好
父母的生日日期(用英语)。
(2)让学生回家后给父母用英语
表述他们生日。4.Activity 8的教学:
(1)让学生先看句子,回顾和复习前面几单元所学主要内容。
(2)让学生朗读这些句子。在熟读的基础上,让学生两人一组结合,利用这些句型进行问答对话练习。(问答对话可以扩充内容和句子。)5.Fun Reading的教学:
小学高年级阶段的学生,除了能对单词和句型认读外,还要重点训练他们的阅读能力,并能够在图片的帮助下读懂及讲述简单故事或小短文。
教师让学生看Fun Reading的内容,了解大意前,先根据内容布置一些阅读“任务”,如:
Who is Aunt Lucy making a big birthday cake for? When is Andy's birthday? Is Andy good at making toy planes? Where is the toilet? Does Andy have a stomachache?
学生阅读后,让学生以小组为单位,就上面几个问题进行谈论或复述故事内容。6.Culture Tips的教学:
让学生仔细看Culture Tips的内容,可以查词典,先了解大意。并在学生读Tell Me About World Famous Sports Events前应提醒学生注意以下几个问题:
When did China hold the Olympic Games?
Are there many sports such as skiing, ice-skating and ice-hockey at the Winter Olympics?
When is the FIFA World Cup usually held?
What is the most famous tennis event called?
Which teams try to be the NBA Champion?
通过让学生带着“问题”去阅读,使阅读更具有目的性和针对性。(在学生阅读时,教师可用图片、黑板或幻灯片呈现等形式展示有关生词,以便学生明白生词意思,读懂故事内容。)教学评析本节课主要复习和巩固前面几个单元所学词语和句型,重点考查学生读音、词类辨别能力,语言交际和表述能力,以及阅读能力。通过多种形式教学,以任务引领学习活动,能够较好地培养和提高学生综合语言运用能力。
