adjectives

superlatives

adjectives.
But
they
could
hardly
name
out
the
rules
of
how
adjectives
are
changed
into
their
comparatives
or
superlatives
systematically.
And
they
even
feel
puzzled
about
some
changes
of
some
adjectives.
3重点难点
For
the
important
points,
students
have
to
know
the
several
rules
on
how
to
change
adjectives
into
their
comparatives
and
their
superlatives.
For
the
difficult
points,
students
may
feel
confused
about
some
changes,
for
example,
those
words
ended
by
vowel+consonant
should
double
their
consonant
and
add
-ed
or
-est
after
it.
But
for
some
words,
it
is
changed
in
a
different
way.

Theteacherwilltickoutallthesentencesandlinedowntheimportantchangesofanadjective.Makesurethatstudentscansummarizesomeoftherulesaboutthesechanges.Forinstance,formostadjectives,weonlyadd-eror-estafteritscomparativeandsuperlative.Forsomeadjectivesendedby-e,wecouldonlyadd-ror-rstaftertheadjectiveitself.

Since
students
have
known
the
rules
of
changing
adjectives
into
their
comparatives
and
superlatives,
I
will
give
each
group
(6
in
a
group)
a
big
piece
of
paper
and
students
will
discuss
and
make
sentences
using
one
comparative
and
one
superlative
of
adjective
in
two
separate
sentences.
Then
they
will
put
the
paper
on
the
board.

several

And
the
teacher
will
