as 作“尽管”，引导让步状语从句时间副词 now, then 置于句首

注：当主语是代词时，不倒装全部倒装1. 时间副词 now, then 置于句首，句子全部倒装
eg.
Now comes your turn.
Then came a noise like thunder.全部倒装2. 方位副词置于句首，句子全部倒装
here, there, away, in, out, down, up, off, back,
eg.
There comes the bus.
Here comes the postman!
Away went the boy.
The door opened, and in came Mr. Smith.
Out rushed the boy with an apple in his hand.
Down came the rain and up went the umbrellas.
Back came the others.全部倒装3. 表语和地点状语(多为介词短语)置于句首，句子全部倒装
eg.
Present at the party were many young people.
Among these people was his friend Jim.
In front of the house sat a boy.
Under the bed lies a cat.
By the door stood an armed guard.
South of the city lies a big factory.全部倒装4. 谓语部分的现在分词、过去分词或不定式置于句首，句子全部倒装
eg.
Buried in the sands was an ancient village.
Standing beside the table was his wife.
To be carefully considered are the following questions.
全部倒装注意：在全部倒装中，当主语是代词时，不倒装
eg.
Now comes your turn. → Now it comes.
Here comes the postman → Here he comes.
Away went the girl. → Away she went.
Under the bed lies a cat. → Under the bed it lies. 部分倒装1. 否定词置于句首，句子部分倒装
no, not, never, seldom, barely, hardly, rarely,
scarcely(很少), little, few
eg.
Nowhere will you find the answer.
Never have I seen such a performance.
Seldom does she write to me.
Hardly can I believe that.
Rarely does she visit her aunt.
Scarcely can I understand you.
Little does he know. 部分倒装注意几个否定词组：
① 表示“决不”的一些词组：
in no way, in no case, by no means, at no time,
under/in no circumstances, on no account
eg.
On no account should you lend him any money.
In no case will I reveal your secret.
比较：at no time 决不 in no time 立即，很快
At no time should you give up studying.
She'll be all right in no time. 部分倒装② no longer置于句首，部分倒装
eg.
No longer does Susan live here. 句首
Susan no longer lives here. 句中
Susan lives here no longer. 句尾
比较： no more一般只放在句尾
Time lost will return no more.
部分倒装③ 一…就… no sooner … than,
hardly/scarcely … when
eg.
I had hardly entered the room when the phone rang.→
Hardly had I entered the room when the phone rang.
He had no sooner finished his talk than he was surrounded by the workers. →
No sooner had he finished his talk than he was surrounded by the workers.部分倒装④ not only … but (also) 引导两个并列句子，
not only置于句首，它所引导的句子倒装
eg.
We should not only study science, but also we should pay attention to politics. →
Not only should we study science, but also we should pay attention to politics. 部分倒装⑤ not until…置于句首，主句部分倒装
eg.
He didn’t go to school until he was ten. →
Not until he was ten did he go to school.
比较：not until 的强调句型
It was not until he was ten that he went to school.部分倒装2. so, nor, neither置于句首，表示情况相同
eg.
Jane likes swimming. So does Susan.
His sister is not a teacher. Nor/Neither is mine.
注意：so it is with… 的用法
Jane likes running, and is good at it. So it is with Jim.
Jane didn’t like running, but she likes it now. So it is with Jim.
Jane likes running, but she doesn’t like swimming. So it is with Jim.部分倒装3. only＋状语置于句首，主句部分倒装
eg.
Only in this way, can you learn English well.
Only after being asked three times did he come to the meeting.
如句子为主从复合句，主句倒装，从句不倒装。
eg.
Only when he is seriously ill does he ever stay in bed.
注意：only引导主语或者宾语放句首，不倒装
Only a few people care about the little dog.
Only a few mistakes he made in the math exam.部分倒装4. so /such…that…的结构中， so /such置于句首，所引导的分句部分倒装
eg.
She was so selfish that nobody likes her. →
So selfish was she that nobody likes her.
They ate so much that they could not move for the next hour. →
So much did they eat that they could not move for the next hour.
He is such a nice man that we all believe him. →
Such a nice man is he that we all believe him. 部分倒装5. if 虚拟条件句中，were，had，should置于句首，if省略，从句部分倒装。句首不能用动词的缩略形式。
能说“Were I not to do”, 不能说 “ Weren’t I to do”
eg.
If I should have time, I would go with you. →
Should I have time, I would go with you.
If you were not to take the train, you would be late. →
Were you not to take the train, you would be late.
If you had told me earlier, I would not have this problem now. →
Had you told me earlier, I would not have this problem now.部分倒装6. as 作“尽管”，引导让步状语从句，必须将表语、状语或动词原形置于句首
注意： ① 表语为单数可数名词，要省略不定冠词
② 若提前的是动词原形(多为vi)，与之连用的通常是may, might, will, would等
③ though也可这样倒装
eg.
Tired as I was, I tried to help them.
Boy as he was, he behaved like a girl.
Try as he would, he couldn’t open the door.
Search as they would, they would find nobody in the house.
Hard as (though) they tried, they couldn’t make her change her mind.
