【Teaching methods】
  In my opinion, the main instructional aims of learning English in the middle school is to develop the students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson I’ll mainly use group-work method and the communicative learning method and task-based method.
【Teaching procedures】
Before class, I’ll show some pictures about different chores. In this way, let students revise the learnt phrases to get ready for the new class.
Step 1 Lead-in
To begin the class, I’ll greet my students as usual. First, I’ll play a video about a boy helping his mother do chores. After that, let students talk about the video and lead to the new lesson of this class.21·cn·jy·com

Step 2 Before-reading
After watching the video and talking about what the boy in the video does at home, let students talk about whether they help with chores at home or not, and what they often do. Present the key phrases and drills of this class by interviewing the TFBOYS, ask students to listen and repeat what they say. And also let students make up their own sentences using the key expressions to get ready for the later reading practice.

本套教材教学资源丰富,为学生的英语学习提供了一个循序渐进的资源基础。Section A 是单元基本的教学内容,Section B 是在Section A 的基础上对单元话题内容的进一步拓展,尤其是词汇的拓展。本部分再进一步听说训练的基础上,重点发展学生的长篇阅读和写作能力。Section B 主要是语言的学习、巩固和运用阶段。本节课是长篇文章的阅读,长句子很多,阅读任务较重。因此,如何化难为简,让学生深入浅出的进行阅读训练就显得尤为重要。在这节课的讲授中,我把握住了教学目标和教学的重难点内容,有好的做法也有不足,现课后反思如下:21教育网
教学亮点:
因“材”设计,情境贯穿始终。
所谓因材设计,就是能根据教材内容来设计教学环节,确立教学的重难点。本课的重点是掌握重点的词组句型,理解语篇内容并运用它们表达自己的看法。在具体的教学过程中要始终围绕这个重点来安排教学活动,让活动的每一个环节既精彩又有实效。例如:通过创设情境采访青少年偶像歌手 TFBOYS,让学生倍感新鲜,以积极的态度投入到听和读的过程中,从而轻松的化解了文章中的重难点词组句型,便于学生进一步的阅读练习。
  2. 因“人”设计,注重小组的合作学习。
八年级下学期,学生的两极分化更加严重,所以在debate 环节设计了小组合作的方式,通过同学之间的互助,减轻程度差的学生的焦虑感,让他们通过小组学习后也能站起来说一说自己的看法,使他们获得一定的成就感。整堂课教师在情境中教学,学生在活动中学习,在交流中运用,取得了良好的教学效果。 21世纪教育网版权所有
不足之处:
在课堂中,由于有人录课精神稍微紧张,导致整个人非常严肃,整堂课中没几次笑容,给学生造成了情绪的压力,不利于调动学生的活跃性。学生也略显紧张,不敢举手回答问题,即使能找到问题的答案。如果再表现的更具有亲和力就好了。针对本节课的设计及效果,感到让学生阅读的不太充分,在学生最后的语言生成和输出时表现的不是太理想。另外,教师的语言组织的不简洁,太随意,会阻碍学生对教师指令的准确理解。教师的示范和指令还应更加明确一些。 21cnjy.com
