Teaching aims:
知识目标：Using adjectives to describe sizes and colours of things. e.g. big.
能力目标：Be able to sing the new song.
情感目标：从歌曲中感受生活和大自然的美好，从而激发对大自然的热爱之情。
Difficult and key points: 节奏，生词的模仿。
Teaching aids: a cassette player, Student’s book, some word and picture cards and wall-chart 1A.
Teaching procedure:
教学步骤 方法与手段 补充与修改
Warming-up 1. Sing a song2. Daily talk
Revision 1. Say and act, Using imperatives.2. Guess and say, Using ‘have got’ or others.3. Read the words according to the word and picture cards. Then play a match game.
Presentation 1. Play the cassette tape. Listen to the new song.2. Put up the picture of the moon. Ask: What’s this To elicit: the moon. Say something about the moon.3. Ask What colour is the moon Answer yourself ‘Yellow. Big and yellow’. Get students to repeat.4. Open the Student’s Book to page 31. Play the cassette tape. Students listen again.5. Sing the song for the class with some actions.6. Read the words after me.7. Sing the song after the music.
Consolidation 1. Sing the song with aviary forms.2. Vary the song by composing another two verses about the sun and the stars.
