Analysis of the book
The topic of this unit is unforgettable events. Everyone has unforgettable events in our life. In this unit, students will be able to learn to talk about past events and tell a story. This is the fifth unit of this book, which focuses on how to use the conjunctions when and while correctly and how to ash and answer questions with the past progressive tense. During the study of this unit, students will also learn some new words and the useful expressions. After learning, students will be able to know how to describe the past events or tell stories by themselves. Besides, they will get the awareness of helping each other.21教育网
What I will teach is the second part of this unit--Section A 3a-3c. This is a reading lesson, which provides some good examples for students about the target sentences constructions. In this class, students will read an article with some reading skills, master the new words, expressions and sentence patterns as well as getting the main idea of the article. 在各位同学的积极参与和密切配合中,我们结束了八年级英语下册Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came? Section A 3a-3c The Storm Brought People Closer Together的学习。下课后,经过老师们的评课和自我反思,总结这节课的优点和需要改进的地方如下:
优点
1、教学设计基于课程标准、教材以及学生的学情,完成了本课时的教学任务。
2、课件设计精美简洁,实用且赏心悦目。
3、在视频导入之后,使用动态图片,生动形象的讲解了一些重点单词和词组,同学们可以通过动态图像,直观的领悟到单词和词组的意思。21教育网
4、针对每一个自然段的精读都设计了一个比较详尽的框架式表格填空,更好的帮助学生掌握文章的脉络结构和主要内容。
5、学生参与度较高,课堂气氛活跃,绝大部分同学能够认真读、仔细想、张嘴说,尤其是The Storm的游戏和海报制作以及展示环节,极大地调动了学生的课堂积极性,提高了学生的课堂参与度。
6、利用小组竞赛的方式极大的调动了学生的课堂参与度和学习积极性。
7、最后制作了在困难或者危险情况下的自救和救助他人的海报,能够帮助学生树立起自救和救助他人的意识,很好的贴合了违章的题目,也进一步实现本节课的情感态度价值观目标。21cnjy.com
需改进的地方
1、由于这是一节阅读课,我觉得学生们在课堂上读的时间相对不够,阅读后的提问面不够广。
2、课堂上有几处口误,虽然及时纠正了,但是是不应该的。
3、学生进行海报设计时,一开始有点迷茫,如果给学生一个例子或者一个比较详尽的Mind-Map,或许会有更好的效果。21·cn·jy·com
4、课堂时间比正常的课要长1分钟,时间把控能力有待提高。
在同组老师的帮助和指导下,这节课成功的结束了。通过反思,我发现了自己的缺点和不足,在今后的教学中,我会努力改进,不断提高,争取以后的每节课都更加完美!21世纪教育网版权所有
