教材分析
本单元是人教版新目标英语九年级最后一个单元，也是整个初中英语课本中的最后一个单元。通过回忆过去，畅想未来这一主题展开各种教学活动。本单元旨在创造一个轻松，愉快的学习、交流环境，通过听，说，读，写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并通过有限的课堂实践活动，拓展以往的经历，能准确地用英语来表达。21教育网
而本节课是本单元的最后一节阅读课，不仅要复习巩固初中学段的一些语法项目，更重要的是通过校长在毕业典礼上的发言，来引领学生回顾初中三年的美好时光，同时展望未来的生活。由此，本课时更加注重学生听、说、读、写得综合训练，教学的重点是remember doing、现在完成时和一般过去时的用法；同时也在情感上教育学生，珍惜现在美好的学习时光，去争取更加辉煌的明天。21世纪教育网版权所有
课后反思
根据新课标的要求，本节课主要的设计思路是通过语言的输入和输出，激发学生的阅读兴趣，提高学生的阅读能力，培养学生综合的语言运用能力。21教育网
本节课的优点：
导入环节的视频能够很好的贴近文本的语言环境，能够帮助学生做好接受新知识的心理准备；
阅读策略的引入，能够帮助学生提高阅读能力；
通过设计不同的阅读任务，能够帮助学生更深更好地理解文本内容，开拓学生的思路，为应对中考做好相关的准备；21世纪教育网版权所有
写作练习，能够很好的配合学生前期的语言输入，使学生能够在用中学，在学中用；
分层布置作业，能够使不同水平的学生都能有事可做。
本节课的不足之处：
导入视频有点过长；
上课的节奏不够紧凑，有的环节没有能够按照前期的设计进行；
没能调动所有学生的参与积极性；
教学过程中的分层教学不够明显。
