教材分析
本单元是人教版新目标英语Go for it!七年级下册第3单元。课题是How do you get to school? 话题是“Transportation”。通过本单元的学习,让学生学会“Talk about how to get to places”, 理解并掌握如何用“How do you get to school? How long does it take? How far is it?”句型来提问和回答,让学生学会谈论自己日常上学的经历,并且学会正确使用交通工具和数字的英文表达,同时培养学生的交通安全意识;了解我国不同地区学生上学的交通方式和我国偏远地区学生上学交通不便的现状,把贴近生活和现实的话题融入课堂教学中,从而体现学以致用的教学理念,同时培养学生珍惜现有的幸福生活与关爱他人的意识。21世纪教育网版权所有
本单元重点是运用所学词汇来表达怎样到达某地所采用的交通方式;
难点是谈论到达某地所需的时间与距离,了解其他地区学生的交通方式。
本单元可以分为5课时。包括听说课,阅读课,写作课。SectionB2a-2c 是本单元的第四课时,是一节阅读课。目标是指导学生阅读和写作,以及培养学生良好的阅读习惯和对文章结构的整体感知能力。对交通工具和交通方式这个话题在本单元前几课时也进行了大量的练习和了解,所以学生阅读起来并不难,只是这篇阅读新单词较多,还有两个较难的句型结构(There is a… between…and…. It’s +adj.+ to do sth.)需要重点强调。
课后反思
本节课是七下Unit3 Reading,整个教学设计采取了三人行小组合作模式,注重了“趣动共享”的特点,运用游戏,角色扮演,声、像等手段促使学生动手、动脑、动口、动耳、动心、动情,激发学生学习的兴趣和热情。如何找趣点是关键,趣点找对了,动点效果也会不错,所以本节课如何体现趣动共享,让学生喜欢这节课,学有所获,我的主要方法就是:“激趣—融趣—冶趣”。21cnjy.com
“激趣”就是通过有效的教学活动,使学生的大脑神经兴奋起来,处于积极的工作状态,从而激起学生愉悦的情绪,产生强大的学习动力,激起其学习潜力和创造力。?课堂开始热身活动——hot potato,和我们所说的击鼓传花相似,音乐停止时拿到potato的学生剥开纸起来回答问题,内容就是本单元的重点语句。其实就是复习上节内容改变以往单纯的师生对话,采取此游戏,学生大脑神经兴奋起来,激起了愉悦的情绪,对本节课有了极大的兴趣。
“融趣”就是在教学活动中,充分调动起学生的情感、情绪,达到师生、生生之间,学生与课堂和教学内容之间的交融与碰撞,主动投入到课堂中来,积极参与课堂活动。我设计的role-play这一环节,采取三人小组角色扮演,创设生活情景,一人当记者,其他俩人扮演山里的孩子,小组内讨论设计对话,上黑板前表演,又引发了学生极大地兴趣,充分调动起学生的情感、情绪,学生与课堂和教学内容融会贯通。此外,每个环节回答问题后,我给学生的评价,如“I like your answer, thanks for your help, i hope your dream will come true, you are so generous”等等,很好的使师生间引起共鸣,增进师生友谊,从而使学生爱上你的课堂!
“冶趣”意即“陶冶情趣”。通过展示大山里的孩子上学场景,生活场景等照片,让学生感受到大山孩子的贫穷生活,调动学生的情感,让学生在课堂上得到“真善美”的熏陶,怡情养性,最后号召孩子们给报纸编辑写一封信,号召大家一起来帮助山里的孩子,熏陶学生乐于助人!
当然,通过课堂教学的实践,我也发现自己还存在一些不足,譬如: 2b 文章的知识点多而重要,课堂上的时间有限,因而对知识点的处理就显得匆忙,不够深入;还有设计思路不够开阔,口语不够好等等。21教育网
