Discuss with your friends about family rules. 本单元是人教版《新目标》的第四单元。这本教材的词汇量很大,内容新颖,尤其是生动活泼的卡通的画面,很符合七年级学生的年龄特点和心理特点,其中还囊括了很丰富多彩的文化知识,以及合作探究的活动,十分贴近学生的实际生活经验。本单元的话题Talk about rules.与日常生活密切相关。作为一名中学生,遵守学校班级、家庭和社会公共场所的规章制度是必须的。在谈论规则时,一般运用祈使句、情态动词can和have to等。这是英语新课程标准中规定所必须掌握的内容,是交际英语中必不可少的项目。因此,本单元对于提升学生的学习兴趣而提高学生的听、说、读、写能力有很大的帮助。
本单元的教学内容较多,而且非常生活化,所以针对不同的内容设计了不同的任务,尤其是在第一课时的学习上。所以我采用了任务型教学方法。本课先以谈论有关学校各项规章制度为话题,初步感受祈使句,以及如何表达规则;然后听和看(通过看那些能做、哪些不能做的事儿,体会情态动词can和can’t的用法)、认(通过认图片,说出规则,并把说出的规则写下来)、做(通过玩飞花令的游戏,让学生巩固所学知识)最后根据自己学习的内容,制定其他公共场合需要的规章制度。这样,通过完成这一系列任务,既使学生学会了如何描述规章制度,又渗透了对学生的情感教育。通过对交通规则等图片展示, 培养学生遵守交通规则。同时,学生还可以学会发散思维,以扩展知识;口头及书面表达能力也可随之提高。 可取之处:全方位的训练了学生的听、说、读、写的能力。 本设计采用任务型教学模式,设置不同的任务,先以谈论有关学校各项规章制度为话题,初步感受祈使句,及如何表达规则;然后通过听、看、玩游戏等活动,体会情态动词can和can’t的用法,最后通过小组讨论制定各个不同场所需要人们遵守的规矩。通过完成这一系列任务,既使学生学会了如何描述规章制度,又渗透了对学生的情感教育。
不足之处:
因为本节课主要讲解祈使句的用法,注重了学生的口头练习,书写内容较少。小组活动中学生参与程度不均衡,有些语言表达能力强的学生参与机会明显较多,他们在小组活动中起着支配的作用,而另一些较为消极的学生学习较为被动,喜欢做听众,对一切语言活动表现冷漠。这都是我在教学中急待与同仁探讨和解决的问题。
一、教学目标:

二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1). 正确使用常见的短语,如:arrive late for…,be on time等。
2). 学习运用祈使句的否定形式表达“禁止”,情态动词can(can’t)表达“许可”以及must表达“义务”的句型。
2. 教学难点:
掌握祈使句的用法,并能听懂、会说一些简单的祈使句。
三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Warming-up
Greet the students.
Play a game called “Yes, I can!”
Teacher says a sentence, if students can do the thing, he/she should stand up and say “ Yes, I can!”.
Sentences like 1. Can you sing? …7. Can you eat 2 hamburgers?
Ⅱ. Presentation
Then ask students questions based on the game.
“Can you eat in class?” so as to teach the new words and phrases.
1. Don’t eat in the classroom. You must eat in the dining hall.
2. Don’t run in the hallways.
3. Don’t listen to music in class.
4. Don’t arrive late for class. You must be on time.
5. Don’t fight.

After reading the school rules, students write the number of the rule next to the student.
Students listen to the tape, then write the numbers after the names.
