Lesson 26 In and out
一、教学设计思路
本课方位介词较抽象，在教学中可以配合动作以便于讲解。用上次课中的monster形象做手偶，既可以复习上次课单词，又可以通过monster手偶的位移对in, out进行讲解。在讲解left, right 时，借助上次课中的身体部位词进行讲解。最后通过“兔子舞”等活动巩固知识。
二、教学目标
（一）知识
掌握表示方位的词in, out, left, right及表示身体部位的词hand。
（二）能力
1. 能够用所学的介词来表示物体之间相对的位置。
2. 能够演唱本课歌曲“Do the Hokey Pokey”。
（三）情感
在教授left, right过程中培养学生遵守右行的交通规则；养成勤洗手的好习惯。
三、教学重点
方位介词：in 在……里面 out 在……外面 left 左边（的） right 右边（的）
身体部位词：hand 手
四、教学媒体
电脑课件（录音机、磁带）、教学图片、盒子、monster手偶、房屋模型。
五、教学过程
1. 导入
教师拿出monster手偶，放在准备好的盒子里。
Have you ever seen them
Yes. They are the monsters in Lesson 25. Who can tell me which one has short arms and long legs？/which one has long arms and short legs /which one has small ears and big feet /which one has big ears and small feet （有助于对上次课单词的复习。）
Where are they
They are in the box.
导入新课in的学习。
2. 呈现新课
（1）in, out讲解
①The monsters are in the box. Well, where are you now
You are in the classroom.
对in进行简单讲解。
②呈现课本中in or out中图片
Which picture shows that Danny is in the house？
How about the second picture The two pictures are just opposite, right
It is “out”. Danny is out of the house.
然后，通过图片或实物位移让学生理解in和out。如：将学生的铅笔放进文具盒再拿出文具盒，将书放进书包，拿出书包。
（2）left, right讲解
① Do you still remember the words about body parts
（教师分别指向身体不同部位，让学生说出英语表达。）
How many arms, legs, feet and ears do you have
Yes. We have two legs, two ears, two feet, two arms and two hands.（引出hand的学习。）
然后向学生讲解这些身体部位有左右之分，（教师伸出左手），this hand is left hand, and the other one is right hand. They are opposite. 通过其他身体部位的左右之分，让学生进一步理解left, right。
② 给学生几分钟时间观察自己及其他同学身边都是哪些同学，然后找同学回答教师的提问：如
Who sits on your left Who sits on your right
Who sits on Li Ming’s left
3. 趣味操练
（1）兔子舞
教师播放“兔子舞”音乐 “left left right right go turn around go go go …”，让学生跟着音乐节奏及歌词跳舞。熟悉几遍后，教师可以在left或right某个词时暂停音乐，找学生观察其他同学的right, left动作是否正确，请动作不正确的学生表演节目。
（2）跳房子
在户外或教师地板上，画好“小房子”分组进行，学生根据教师的in, out口令跳房子。
（3）“Do the Hokey Pokey”歌曲。
学生跟着歌曲 “Do the Hokey Pokey”做动作。
（4）show me your right hand
将学生分成几个小组，每组找一个“小司令”，进行show me your right hand, show me your left hand…操练。
4. 课堂评价
教师在活动过程中对学生的反映情况进行评价
5. 学以致用
给爸爸妈妈表演“兔子舞”。
