答案:
本文是一篇以母爱的伟大力量为主题的记叙文,叙述了作者自小残疾,在母亲的要求和关爱下逐渐成长的经历。
1.解析:missing“没有了的”。此题容易误选B.broken“断了的”,不符合情景和句意。联系下文可以得知,我的肘部不是断了而是没有了。
答案:A
2.解析:从空后的句子可知,这是医生给“我”母亲的建议。
答案:D
3.解析:从下句“Demand
more”可知,医生建议“我”母亲不要因为“我”的残疾就把“我”与其他孩子区别对待。
答案:B
4.解析:did在此相当于demanded
more,其他答案不合题意。
答案:A
5.解析:support在这里是“支撑,养活”的意思。
答案:C
6.解析:从下文“我”削土豆皮的经历可知,“我们”姐妹几个都帮母亲的忙。
答案:D
7.解析:从空后的“Mom,I

Ⅲ.阅读理解
In
the
early
1980s,an
American
engineer
Chuck
Hull
went
to
his
boss
with
an
idea:
to
build
a
machine
that
prints
out
things
you
hold
in
your
hand.
His
manager
told
him
that
the
company
produced
UV
lamps,
not
machines
that
were
able
to
make
copies
of
things
of
all
kinds.
But
finally
they
reached
an
agreement.
Hull
would
spend
the
day
working
on
the
company's
lamps;
at
night
he'd
work
on
his
machine.
It
was
the
UV
lights
that
gave
Hull
the
idea
at
first.
The
lamps
were
used
in
factories
to
harden
a
plastic
veneer(薄片镶饰).
Hull
realized
that
he
could
use
UV
lights
to
cut
plastic
pieces
into
whatever
shape
he
liked
and
then
pile
these
pieces
to
form
a
3 D
thing.
Then
he
had
to
write
programs
to
tell
his
machine
how
to
cut
each
piece.
At
last,
his
first
3 D
printer
was
put
together.
But
by
the
mid 1980s,
the
printer
had
developed
into
a
working
product,
though
it
cost
hundreds
of
thousands
of
dollars.
Because
the
printer
was
too
heavy
to
carry
to
exhibitions,
Hull
made
home
movies
to
show
it
to
people.
“The
movies
were
pretty
boring,
but
even
so,”
he
said,
“we
got
a
strong
response,
especially
in
Detroit.
Back
then,
the
US
car
industry
had
been
far
behind
Japan
and
the
car
companies
were
eager
for
a
secret
weapon.”
The
3 D
printer
was
just
that:
engineers
could
make
their
own
models
for
parts
such
as
door
handles(把手),
rather
than
sending
plans
to
a
tool
and
die
shop,
saving
months
during
the
design
process
and
thus
making
their
cars
more
competitive.
Now
that
the
technology
is
becoming
affordable,
all
kinds
of
people
have
caught
3 D
fever.
A
professor
from
the
University
of
California
is
working
on
printing
out
an
entire
house.
Another
3 D
artist
has
made
a
robotic
hand
that
lets
his
son.
who
was
born
without
several
fingers,
pick
up
a
water
bottle.
“Anything
that
can
be
made
will
be
made
by
anyone
anywhere,”
wrote
Joris
Peels,
a
3 D
pioneer.
“Anyone
will
be
able
to
3 D print
a
spoon,
a
truck
or
a
rose.”

it.

Everyone
who
simply

is
crushed
to
death.
Every
time,
without
exception.
People
who
get

like
desks
or
cars,
are
always
crushed.
Cats,
dogs
and
babies
all
naturally
often
curl
up
(蜷曲)
in
a

position.
__2__
It
is
a
natural
safety
instinct.
You
can
survive
in
a
smaller
void(空间).
Get
next
to
a
large
bulky
object,such
as
a
sofa
that
will
compress
slightly
but
leave
a
void
next
to
it.
Wooden
buildings
are
the
safest
type
of
construction
to
be
in
during
an
earthquake.
There
are
two
reasons.
__3__
Secondly
the
wood
can
move
with
the
force
of
the
earthquake.
If
the
wooden
building
does
collapse,
a
large
survival
void
is
created.
Also,
the
wooden
building
has
less
concentrated,
crushing
weight.
Brick
buildings
will
break
into
individual
bricks.
Bricks
will
cause
many
injuries
but
less
squashed
bodies
than
slabs
of
concrete.
If
you
are
in
bed
during
the
night
and
an
earthquake
occurs,
simply
roll
off
the
bed.
A
safe
void
will
exist
around
the
bed.
If
an
earthquake
happens
while
you
are
watching
television
and
you
cannot
easily
escape
by
getting
out
of
the

an
8.2
earthquake
hit
America,
killing
over
30,000
people
in
less

During
the
quake,
a
father
left
his
wife
safely
at
home
and
rushed
to
the
school
where
his
son
was
studying,
only
to
find
that
the
building
was
as
flat
as
a
pancake(煎饼).
After
the
first
shock,
he
remembered
the
promise
he
had
made
to
his
son,
“No
matter
what
happens,
I'll
always
be
there
for
you!”
And
tears
began
to
fill
his
eyes.
As
he
looked
at
the
pile
of
ruins
that
once
was
the
school,
he
looked
helpless,
but
he
kept
remembering
his
promise
to
his
son.
He
began
to
direct
his
attention
towards
where
he
walked
his
son
to
class
at
school
each
morning.
Remembering
his
son's
classroom
would
be
in
the
back
right
corner
of
the
building,
he
rushed
there
and
started
digging
through
the
ruins.
As
he
was
digging,
other
helpless
parents
arrived,
saying,
“My
son!”
“My
daughter!”
Other
well-meaning
parents
tried
to
pull
him
off
what
was
left
of
the
school,
saying,
“It's

late!
They're
all
dead!
You
can't
help!
Go
home!
Come
on,
face
reality.
There's
nothing

To
each
parent
he
answered
with
one
line,
“Are
you
going
to
help
me
now?”
And
then
he
continued
to
dig
for
his
son,
stone
by
stone.
The
fire
chief(消防队长)
showed
up
and
tried
to
pull
him
off
the
school's
ruins,
saying,
“Fires
are
breaking
out,
explosions
are
happening
everywhere.
You're
in
danger.
We'll
take
care
of
it.
Go
home.”
But
this
loving,
caring
American
father
still
asked,
“Are
you
going
to
help
me
now?”
The
police
came
and
said,
“You're
angry,
anxious...
but
it's
over.
You're
endangering
others.
Go
home.
We'll
handle
it!”
Yet
he
replied,
“Are
you
going
to
help
me
now?”
No
one
helped.
Bravely
he
went
on
alone
because
he
needed
to
know
for
himself,
“Is
my
boy
alive
or
is
he
dead?”
He
dug
for
8
hours...
12
hours...
24
hours...
36
hours...
then,
in
the
38th
hour,
he
removed
a
large
stone
and
heard
his
son's
voice.
He
screamed
his
son's
name,
“ARMAND!”
He
heard
back,
“Dad
It's
me,
Dad!
I
told
the
other
kids
not
to
worry.
I
told
them
that
if
you

and

“What's
going
on
in
there
How
is
it?”
the
father
asked.
“There
are
14
of
us
left
out
of
33,
Dad.
We're
frightened,
hungry,
thirsty...
and
thankful
you're
here.
When
the

fell
down,
it
made
a
triangle(三角形),
and
it
saved
us.”
“Come
out,
boy!”
“No,
Dad!
Let
the
other

out
first,
because
I
know

An
earthquake
is
one
of
the
most
common
natural
disasters.It
may
cause
great
damage.
So
it
is
wise
to
learn
some
simple
safety
tips
to
protect
yourself
or
your
family
members.
Fragile
items
like
those
made
of
glass
are
easily
broken
and
should
usually
be
placed
on
a
lower
surface,
near
the
ground
instead
of
placing
them
in
the
cupboards
higher
up.
Never
place
them
near
your
bed,
sofas
and
other
furniture
where
you
would
be
sitting
or
lying
down.
When
there
is
a
strong
movement,
these
pieces
will
fall
on
the
floor
directly
and
not
on
you.
There
is
a
strong
chance
of
short
circuits
and
fire
during
an
earthquake.
Make
sure
you
turn
off
electrical
connections
and
gas
immediately
when
an
earthquake
happens.
During
an
earthquake,
lie
beneath
an
object
that
is
not
easily
damaged.
Do
not
go
near
objects
that
could
directly
fall
on
you.
Never
use
the
elevator
to
go
down.
Stay
inside
until
the
shaking
stops
and
it
is
safe
to
go
outside.
Research
has
shown
that
most
injuries
happen
when
people
inside
buildings
try
to
go
out.
Use
the
staircases(楼梯)
at
all
times.
If
you
are
outdoors,
do
not
take
shelter
under
a
tree,
streetlights,
electric
poles
or
tall
buildings.
If
you
are
driving,
stop
your
car
and
stay
in
a
safe
place.Do
not
park
your
car
under
a
tree
or
any
tall
object.
If
trapped
in
debris,
cover
your
mouth
with
a
handkerchief(手帕)
or
clothing.
Tap
on
a
pipe
or
the
wall
so
rescuers
can
find
you.
Use
a
whistle
(哨子)
if
one
is
available.
Never
shout
for
help.
Shouting
can
cause
you
to
breathe
in
dangerous
amounts
of
dust.
Do
not
light
a
match
because
you
may
burn
yourself.
Do
not
move
about
or
kick
up
dust.
