Unit 3 My friends
一、 教学内容
1.本单元要求会听，说，认读的单词和短语有：
A: thin strong quiet friend friends has name he music science sports painting she right
B: long hair short hair computer game
2.本单元要求会听，说的单词和词组：
Chinese like his photo her
he’s=he is she’s=she is you’re=you are
3.本单元要求学生会听、说、读、写的单词和词组：
teacher student boy girl friend
4.帮助学生在掌握单词的基础上造出句子，编出对话，学以致用。
5.培养学生用英语交流的能力，为学生的进一步学习奠定基础。
二、教学目标与要求
能听懂、会说每一课会话。
掌握本单元出现的生词，词组和字母。
会唱本单元的歌曲。
三、教学重点和难点
1.对于较长的单词的掌握。
如classroom, classmate, computer
对于第一次出现的词组和短句的掌握。
如have a look, good job
于礼貌用语 “Thank you , Excuse me, After you”的掌握与应用。
3. 描述教室中所有物件，并能据此编出对话。
四、教学时间
本单元共6课时，每周3课时，2周完成。
Lesson 5
1. Teaching Aims
A: Listen and say the dialogue
B: Act a short dialogue
2. Teaching Aids
a tape- recorder photos of my friends
3. Difficulty and keys
Boy or girl She is quiet. She likes music.
He is strong. He likes sports.
4. Steps
1) Organization
Say "Hello" to everyone, and then sing the song “Books and pencils” with the students clapping hands together.
2) Revision.
A: Review the following words:
Music science sports painting computer game
My friend likes ……
B: Guessing game:
She has a small nose and a big mouth.
She likes music. Who’s she
3) Learn the dialogue
Open the books and let the students try to guess the meaning of the whole dialogue. Listen to the tape and imitate. Then practice the difficult sentences:
I have a friend. Boy or girl She is quiet.
She likes music. What’s her name
He is strong. He likes sports. Who is he
4) Group work
Divide the students into many small groups and let them practice the whole dialogue.
5) Act out the dialogue.
5. Homework
Listen to the tape and practice the dialogue.
