There seems to be two thoughts on the beginning of Boxing Day and why it is celebrated. One of them is that centuries ago, on the day after Christmas, bosses would give boxes full of food and fruit, clothing, or money to their servants (仆人). Nowadays you can buy a different kind of shoes specially designed for your sport. If you are running on grass, it will be a good idea to have the right shoes for the job —a pair of shoes which has studs (鞋钉) so that you don’t slip (滑倒).
