外滩(英文:The Bund),位于上海市黄浦区的黄浦江畔,即外黄浦滩,1844年(清道光廿四年)起这一带被划为英国租界,成为上海十里洋场的真实写照,也是旧上海租界区以及整个上海近代城市开始的起点。
外滩全长1.5公里,南起延安东路,北至苏州河上的外白渡桥,东面即黄浦江,西面是旧上海金融、外贸机构的集中地。1943年起,外滩的正式路名为中山东一路。

北京故宫是中国明清两代的皇家宫殿,旧称为紫禁城,位于北京中轴线的中心,是中国古代宫廷建筑之精华。北京故宫以三大殿为中心,占地面积72万平方米,建筑面积约15万平方米,有大小宫殿七十多座,房屋九千余间。是世界上现存规模最大、保存最为完整的木质结构古建筑之一。

颐和园,中国清朝时期皇家园林,前身为清漪园,坐落在北京西郊,距城区十五公里,占地约二百九十公顷,与圆明园毗邻。它是以昆明湖、万寿山为基址,以杭州西湖为蓝本,汲取江南园林的设计手法而建成的一座大型山水园林,也是保存最完整的一座皇家行宫御苑,被誉为“皇家园林博物馆”,也是国家重点旅游景点。
天安门广场,位于北京市中心,地处北京市东城区东长安街,北起天安门,南至正阳门,东起中国国家博物馆,西至人民大会堂,南北长880米,东西宽500米,面积达44万平方米,可容纳100万人举行盛大集会,是世界上最大的城市广场。

简介
故宫又称“紫禁城”,是明清两代的皇宫,也是世界上最大的宫殿,占地72万平方米(长960米,宽750米),建筑面积15万平方米,始建于公元1406-1420年,是明朝皇帝朱棣始建,用30万民工,共建了14年,有房屋9999间半,主要建筑是太和殿、中和殿和保和殿,保和殿也是科举考试举行殿试的地方,科举考试的一至三名分别称状元、榜眼、探花。
颐和园位于北京的西北郊,原是清代的皇家花园和行宫。其前身清漪园,始建于公元1750年(乾隆十五年),1860年被英法联军焚毁,1886年(光绪十二年)慈禧挪用海军经费和其他款项重建,并于1888年改名为颐和园。1900年,颐和园又遭八国联军严重破坏,1902年再次修复。
颐和园主要由万寿山和昆明湖组成。
故宫是过去皇帝及大臣上班的地方。颐和园是休闲的地方。两者就是劳逸结合的关系。
