How to refuse one’s offer在句子中起宾语作用的从句叫做宾语从句， 常由that 引导，用于陈述一件事，that无意义，在口语或非正式文体中常被省略。
He wants to speak to the headmaster. He says. （合并为复合句）
→He says (that) he wants to speak to the
headmaster.从句的主语是that时，that不能省略。 We know that is an interesting film.
我们知道那是一部有趣的电影。 （that作从句主语） 主从句之间有插入语时，that也不能省略； It says here, in the newspapers, that English is getting more and more important.

（in the newspapers是插入语） 主句谓语动词的使用:
主句的谓语动词是say, know, think, hear, hope, wish, believe, tell, remember, forget等时，
或主句的谓语动词是由形容词afraid, glad, sure, sorry等构成的系表结构时，后面常接that引导的宾语从句。
