The volunteers are trying to deal with this problem. These volunteers, most of which are from western Europe, want to make sure that the dogs and the cats will have a better life. So since a few years ago Kusadasi has opened a shelter (收容所) for the dogs. This dog shelter puts up 200 dogs.
